"I hard-wired it so I didn't have to connect the running lights, so when you hit the brakes, wow! You will need a spacer along the entire bar, except for 2 inches from each end due to overlapping welded sheet metal on both sides. I attached a .15" PVC shim, just slightly narrower than the aluminum frame, and used the existing double-sided tape to adhere to that, then I used my own 3/4" double sided tape (also 3M HA tape) to attach the shim and light bar to my truck."

It's just one mounting bolt on the bottom of each of the two brackets, and four bolts on the side of each bracket plus two more allen screws to secure the light once centered in place. The side most six lights on both sides scatter their light and the inside bulbs are concentrated to a round beam that shone on the back wall in my garage. This is probably a wiring issue rather than bulbs blinking out because it's a cluster of a dozen lights all grouped together."

"I did a bunch of research on cheap 52" light bars before making this purchase. When I received the first bar I hooked it up to make sure all the led's were working then I took the front housing apart and put a beed of Amazing Goop sealant in there to eliminate any moisture problems. There is some wind noise, but I've owned several cars with bars on-top of them and it's about the same noise. This light is defiantly more of flood light. I'll be purchasing a 30"ish spot LED bar to mount on my bumper at some point to get that penetrating light. Similarly if the hood/ or front windshield is dirty you will get some light reflection off of both of these surfaces causing some visibility issues. Mounting: I bought the 54" Rough Country Mounts from their website Rough Country - 70518 - 54-inch Curved LED Light Bar Upper Windshield Mounting Brackets (Ford F150) but I would imagine the Eyourlife brackets would work, as they look exactly the same."
