Find Best Price at Amazon"I replaced a few cables then decided to fix the root cause of my problem which was the rubber gasket on the door inside the HVAC box that switches from vent to floor etc. Another option would be where this cable hooks up to the HVAC box under the dash by the floor- it's like a big plastic component that rotates to move the doors, you can just reach down there (Not really from a seated position, you'll need to squat next to the car) and rotate it by hand, then you can leave it in that position. The reason for this though is because back when I bought this cable, installed it, and posted the original review here, I also fixed the root problem which was the deteriorating rubber gasket on the door in the HVAC. During my 6 hours disassembling the dash I managed to get that door out of the HVAC box by splitting the box and prying it open enough to free the door from it's mounts and manipulate it out, then I cut the rubber off completely and re-installed the door, then the dash."
