Find Best Price at Amazon"There are quite a few float charger type products out there that bill themselves as "battery tenders" but the actual product name of this is "Battery Tender Jr." - they have other Battery Tender products, including one with higher charging output, and one with more outputs for charging multiple batteries. A battery that is kept at full charge will have a much longer service life than a battery that is left sitting with less than a full charge. The difference with the Battery Tender products is that they are intelligent: they have computers inside that analyze the state of charge of the battery to which they are connected, and alter their output to adjust: Initialization, Bulk Charge Mode, Absorption Mode, Float Mode). I have not had a single battery go bad in the five years since I have started using Battery Tenders - and every battery still performs like it is brand new. When I park the bike, I simply flip open the cubby, plug in the Battery Tender, and I know the battery is protected and maintained. The Battery Tender works great on standard flooded wet-cell lead-acid batteries, as well as AGM (absorption glass mat) batteries. A drop of heavy oil at each pivot point, and a little light grease on the sliding quill that holds the mandrels makes all the difference in the world. This is due to the fact that the bore through the tool body is at least 1/16 larger diameter than the "pulling bar" that slides through it."

I used an accurate tire gauge to drain the driver's side tire down to 20 psi. With the engine off I timed the compressor inflating the tire up to 40 psi on the 88P gauge. I unhooked the compressor and checked the pressure with my good tire gauge and found the tire was reading 38 psi. The top of the "dry box" has storage compartments so I put in a complete tire plug kit, some spare plugs, two spare valve stems, a couple tire pressure gauges, a small Mag Lite flashlight a a couple spare AA batteries for the light. I want to see how long it takes to re-inflate all 4 tires back to 35 psi and if I can air up all 4 tires without overheating the compressor or exceeding the 45% duty cycle."
