I knew we wouldn't get the same range with bluetooth-only units, but the Sena 20S had the highest advertised range of the highly rated bluetooth units (1.2 miles) which seemed adequate. The units are supposed to automatically reconnect after the range is re-established but our units do not, you must manually reconnect by hitting the jog dial button. Other minuses: as another reviewer pointed out, the permanently attached part of the unit extends below the rim of the helmet, so when you set the helmet down, one side is resting on the communicator. Many reviewers report these units falling apart in use. As flimsy as these units seem, both have held up pretty well, but as I said in my original review, we're very careful with them, and leave them on the helmet permanently since the lock is a weak point."
"For years I have been using ear buds to listen to my navigation and music. One thing I noticed is that you can change how the voice prompts from the Navigation overlay the music. I did adjust that so that when I get a voice prompt the music is almost completely quiet. I just finished up my first long ride with them, about 8 hours, and I am sold. The battery life was great, It lasted all 8 hours of my ride at my volume levels with music and navigation, plus 4 hours on standby time while eating. So many times I used to have problems with the ear buds working loose in my ear and causing sore spots, and trying to get the volume adjusted from being stuck in traffic to cruising down the highway."

There's a single pocket on the side of the left thigh and it has a velcro closure for the pocket flap. A belt with 6 grommeted holes in conjunction with a laced back piece should allow these to fit most waist sizes. If these are too long but fit you otherwise, you just need to take them to a leathersmith and have them shortened, a trivial task."
