I suspect much heavier than 250 and you would want to order a 5" or deeper topper with more support, as the memory foam layer is actually only 1" thick and the rest is just another kind of foam and would probably just compress rather evenly and not really offer much support at all. I look forward to how this topper holds up to the test of time with people of two different weights using the same sides, there might be some distinctive wear and tear between each side that will help indicate how sturdy it is and how long it will last before needing replacement."
