"In the end, I just mounted the first side (exhaust pipe side) hand tight then fed a tire iron through the third mounting hole on the second side and up into the third mounting hole on the frame (the one without threads). Get under you car and look at the bolt holes this will be mounted to. Many reviewers recommend getting a tap set to clear the threads but you may not need it. Fishing the bolt and washer up through the frame for the third bolt hole on the second side was easy and the included wire they provided to do that worked exactly as it should."

"For those wondering, it came out to 29" from the center of the ball coupler to the chain hanger on my set up. The attached photo shows the original compared to the Reese chain hangers. Fitting the original would require an additional 3 - 4 inches of exposed trailer frame. Thanks to the great instructions, I got it rigged up and the rear of my truck squatted a negligible amount - not even .25". All in all, it took about 3.5 hours of constant work to measure, assemble, install, connect, and test drive the distro hitch and the anti-sway."
