"There are over 700 Pokemon to learn about in this one book!"
"My son loves Pokémon and we had this book in a soft-cover from B & N. It fell apart in a week."
"They had fun "hunting" through the book to look for certain Pokemon -- it is a great companion book to those playing Pokemon Go!"
"The information it provides about each pokemon is concise, easy for any age to understand and makes learning about them fun. The only complaint my daughter did have is that it doesn't include the Alolan region (hopefully I spelled that correct)...but the book was made before that was created I believe."
"Even though this book is not about real animals, I like it a lot!"
"Essential for the pokemon lover, especially if they are new readers."
"The breakdown of each character and their corresponding strengths and weaknesses encourages him to continue reading and giving us perfect stopping stops for bedtime."
LEGO Chain Reactions is packed full of ideas, instructions, and inspiration for 10 LEGO machines that spin, swing, pivot, roll, lift, and drop. Our team of experts worked with educators and 11-year-olds to invent the machines, then wrote a book that teaches the skills (and some of the physics behind the fun) kids need to create their own amazing chain reaction machines. Includes a 80 page instructional book with Klutz certified crystal-clear instructions.
Reviews
Find Best Price at Amazon"A lot of thought and effort went into the chain reaction concepts and resulting projects. The chain reaction projects aren't that at all. They are challenging in my view mostly because of the need for precision alignment between the paper parts and the Lego motion actuators the kids assemble to create the Chain the Reaction. The greatest joy my grandson experienced (and it was great joy) was the moment the first project functioned properly for the first time after several complete and partial failures (just as his patience was wearing thin) and then joy again once the chain reaction was rehearsed and easily repeatable so as to show his parents without failure. In summary, it appears that, assuming success along the way, the complicated chain reactions are fun for children to assemble, challenging to make fully, reliably functional and thrilling once they work for that first time."
"The Lego pieces supplied are mainly specialty pieces, to complete the machines. so your choices are - (a) buy the book, if you know the recipient has an extensive supply of excess Lego (b) buy the book, and the additional Lego you need (c) buy the book and get creative around what you can substitute for the additional required pieces - (book stacks are suggested in place of the towers, but I think would be unstable and difficult to get the components to align sufficiently for the machine to work)."
"Wow!"
"The second project requires 4 2x1 bricks, 10 3x1 bricks, 6 4x1 bricks "from your collection"."

Why are some animals big and others small?"

Find Best Price at Amazon"I've been playing Minecraft for 4 years now. When I first started playing I didn't have access to the internet so I learned everything on my own. I'm so happy I found these handbooks!! The Redstone handbook has taught me a general idea of how it works, but I'm still confused with the concept of "endless possibilities". I've learned many new things from each Handbook. (If you're old enough to play the game, you're old enough to read the books) They are made very clearly with photos of all explanations. In fact, if you put so much time into Minecraft that you ARE expert, then you'll want to have these books just as a fan."
"A great book for my seven year old to learn many tricks and shortcuts with the game. He learned how to make basic weapons and what the armor protected the player from."
"Make sure you get the updated editions, so you can have the most 'to date' version of the books - although, in another 6 months, we'll probably need an updated version of the updated version."
"There is no way for me to save the sticker except by carefully using a sharp scissor and cutting around it, so I todssed the sticekr with the discarded shrinkwrap.
