While the Abyssals are grim, fatalistic, and austere and the Fair Folk are aloof, eccentric, and alien, the Infernals have an unrivaled ferocity and savageness with a clear goal: Make Creation into Hell."
"Their charms are based more off of the nature of the one of the Five Architects of the Reclamation: Malfeas, Cecylene, She who live in her name, Anhjoran, and, the Original Creature of Darkness himself, the Ebon Dragon."
"In a world that has seemingly moved on to video games for recreation, tabletops really get to show off their strengths, because unlike a video game, a tabletop game is only constrained by your imagination and that that of your fellow players: Want to go on a crazy insect-monster hunt w/ giant magickal swords, jacked up power armor and Essence Cannons? Like your games full of puzzles and storied intrigue? Are you more the kind of person who likes a straight up fight hurling flaming energy spheres or rippling lightning racing down your hands, in a group or mano e mano? Heck, if you're a fan of racing games, we have skyships, dinosaurs, fire breathing gondolas, and spectral horses... now what video game gives you options like that?"
"Amazing book, it really presents a next level to Exalted play."
"The seller is fine, but the actually book is garbage!"
"As a resource for Storytellers (like me) who want to corrupt existing characters or introduce villains to a group that has grown tired of the Abyssals or does not like Abyssals in the first place, the book provides plenty of resources."
"Like everything for Exalted, it delivers with a blend of imagination and coolness that's hard to top."
"O my god this is one of the great books for Exalted 2ed the infernals are insane gae it and love it."

The natural history we know is a lie, a falsehood sold to us by wicked old men who would make the world a dull gray prison and protect us from the dangers inherent to freedom.

Find Best Price at Amazon"Overall, Exalted is an amazing product, and I have a hard time enjoying other games simply because I love the setting and concepts I've grown used to. As an RPG, Exalted is at it's strongest in detailing its setting and in driving home the main theme of the line: Epic heroism. As the introduction says, in most games, you're lucky to have a starting character with a rusty sword and a pot helm, and a handful of large rats might be too much for you to handle. When you add in the fact that every character possesses abilities that rewrite those rules, you can imagine how quickly things can become overwhelming."
"There are five different kinds of Exalted; Solars, Lunars (Wild, shape-changing exalted), Sidereals (Fate-meddling hidden manipulators that others have a hard time remembering), Dragon-Blooded or Terrestrial (Weakest of the Exalts, but their numbers more than make up for it and they don't like the other types of Exalted) and the Abyssals, who are nasty, evil Solar Exalted created by the Deathlords, who in turn are servants of the Neverborn."
"In addition to having the most original and most cohesive setting of any storytelling game, Exalted. The key to understanding the setting is that it remixes countless histories, mythologies and storytelling styles from our world, from Journey to the West to anime to actual historical processes like the Transatlantic Slave Trade and the Opium Wars."
"The fun of exalted comes from playing gods in a world nearly as dangerous as you."

Come adventure in the Second Age of the World, the fantastic world of the Exalted.

"I have run multiple games in the Exalted universe."
"I was a bit leery of it--I'd played so many White Wolf games that I'd burnt out on them--but when one of our groupmembers offered to run this, I jumped at the chance. Amazon's discount also made it cost less than the cover price--even with international shipping thrown in!"
"great 2nd edition and price."
"It has a quick description of the system and a brief overview of the setting. In order to GM a good game, you need a firm grasp of the setting and system (ok.. you really don't when you are starting out, but if this isn't your first rodeo your PCs will expect greatness from you, haha). That is a brief description of the system, it does have its moments, but overall I would say it was one of the easiest systems to learn, especially for beginners. I think this is a great system and setting, I have been playing Exalted for 10 years, lost my book and bought another (I paid $7 total I think for a used book)."
"The world created by the authors is nothing short of fascinating, the dice system is an old favorite of mine (though tweaked from games like Vampire to be more heroic), and the Charms are an inspired method of magic."
"RPG rules sets are supposed to encourage imagination, not have so many rules you can't help but play one way."

"From where I modified the rules and added cool weapon attachments, species, planets, events that never happened in the star wars universe, etc."
"I wanted to begin playing RPGs for quite a while, and I was looking for a decent RPG that could translate into Star Wars. Also get the Character Sheets because the one in the back of the book is IMPOSSIBLE to photocopy (too close to the binding)."
"I was delivered what I was promised....what a concept!"
"Also if your familiar with the d20 system from D&D you won't really have to learn a whole lot more to play this game."
"Here's where i'm coming from with this review: 30 years old; big fan of star wars since i was 5; hated the Phantom Menace and feared that George had lost his marbles and ruined memories of my childhood; liked Clones better, even if the script and acting and romance sucked; and a player of D&D since i was very young. I found it confusing, some of the changes unnecessary, and the general FEEL was not the D&D of 1st and 2nd edition that i knew and loved so well. Give some classes bonus abilities, let armor reduce vitality damage, make races stronger than Humans, give droids maximum hp at every level, do whatever you want to create a game that fits your needs. Add that with fatigue penalities, saves vs. unconsciousness, and lack of healing potions, character lives are rather fragile."
"This former Revised Core Rulebook for the SW saga may be outdated but is very well made: the layout, the images, the rules..."
"For someone new to the d20 system this is would be a big drawback as the only other way to know what skills ranks give synergy bonuses would be to canvas the internet or read the 3.5 Dungeons and Dragons players handbook."
