Reviews
"I am reading straight through this book with post-it bookmarks and highlighter because there's always so much in these programs that helps even an experienced user to work faster and better that is not really documented by MS. As an example, I figured out a lot about the interface change from 2003 to 2010 in the 3 months I before I bought the book, but was still struggling with and not properly appreciating the ribbon."
"Father likes it and he's 89."
"thick book."
"Great book for such reasonable price."
"All the common questions are right there in the book and I don't have to waste my support hours hovering over the new users as they try to make Office work like the old suite."
"I was looking for more information about the sort function in Excel 2010 and it really didn't have the information that I hoping to find!"
"This book is like many other help guides, it tells you to perform a function to accomplish a requested task, but does not tell the novice how to access that function, and I also believe it could be better organized."
"This book is an instruction/reference manual that brings you up to date with current Windows technology."

"As good as all the other Dummy books!"
"On par with other "Dummie" books."
"It was exactly what I needed."
"I had never used power point in my career (use to over head projectors)."
"Some folks "keep up" with new versions of Office, but I am so stingy that if the PC is older, so is the Office version, I can often pick up a new laptop on Amazon or at Stuff Mart with a new Office version (for that machine) for what it would cost to upgrade Office with the full suite on an older platform anyway, and upgrades have scrambled my O/S in the past so I'm also leery for that reason. For your question on webinars, YES this book is relevant for any version as far as internet presentations, but some of the details of linking between pages vs. links in your webinar have been updated in 16, although it is more dependent on the web presentation system whether your older version is compatible-- most will work with any Windows 7 version (as will 16 by the way), but check with your webinar platform to be sure."
