"I wish to express my love to the author, William P. Young for this book which has increased my knowledge of love, glory and redemption, not to mention the concept of the three as one and one as three to have in my personal relationship with GOD."
"Both this book and the movie sure made me see that and made my heart so full. My only wish, if for more books and movies to come out like this."
"What I will say is it's an amazing book and if you have ever thought about reading about God and how it all works -- this book is for you."
"It was evident once I started reading it that this man had been through many of the emotions and "The Great Sadness" that he describes in heartbreaking detail and in a way that the reader can feel the character's pain. When he gets to the part of meeting God and speaking with the three aspects of him, I could feel the pain I felt for the character melting away as he delved further into the nature of God and discovered that He is all about love and that he, the character was never alone and neither was his daughter who was murdered. I don't consider myself to be a "religious" person."
"Read through to the very end including words from the author to feel the total magnitude of the message this book brings."
"This book presents the triune God in a way that humans can relate to."
"I read the book in two evenings."
Before its end as a nation, there appeared in ancient Israel nine specific warnings and omens of national destruction - These same nine Harbingers are now manifesting in America with profound ramifications for America's future and end-time prophecy. Hidden in an ancient biblical prophecy from Isaiah, the mysteries revealed in The Harbinger are so precise that they foretell recent American events down to the exact days... the 3,000-year-old mystery that revealed the exact date of the stock market collapse of 2008... the ancient prophecy that was proclaimed from the floor of the US Senate and then came true...and more.

"Being of a strong Christian based background I wanted to follow this up and see just how linked events of today were to something that happened long ago. Honestly, the book freaked me out a little at parts, because it made me think of my own choices during the times and events that were mentioned in the story. Most of this may sound bogus, but the bibliography in the back of the book and the background of the author suggests a well-educated account that can't easy be dismissed. Otherwise, the formatting was quite innovative and interesting in how it was presented - the confusion could have been way worse without the helpful breaks."
"Again, it is very high brow and points to a great deal of jewish ideology and tries to combine it with today's situations."
"I did find it interesting how American leaders repeated portions of Isiah 9:10, but I don’t think there is some kind of mystical power of that one verse to link ancient Israel with the United States of America. 1 Corinthians 14:33a states, “For God is not the author of confusion…” God would not inspire the author of this book to create something that takes so many mental gymnastics to make the connection between the two nations."

Best Christian Mystery & Suspense Romance
Without food or shelter, and only Ben’s mountain climbing gear to protect themselves, Ashley and Ben’s chances for survival look bleak, but their reliance on each other sparks an immediate connection, which soon evolves into something more. Charles Martin is the author of seven novels. The wind up here is steady, leaning against the tail of the fuselage…or what’s left of it. I guess both wings were still pretty full of fuel. There’s a wedding band, worn thin around the edges. I’ll never understand how he landed this thing without killing me, too. When we took off, the ground temperature was in the single digits. We couldn’t have fallen more than five hundred feet when Grover dipped the wing. The control panel sits dark, unlit. Every few minutes the GPS on the dash will flicker, then go black again. Makes snotty, gurgling sounds when he breathes. He’s shivering and the wrinkles around his eyes are quivering. Whenever the wind howls, he jumps up and growls at it. Grover and I were talking, he was flying, maybe banking right, the dash flashed a buffet of blue and green lights, a carpet of black stretched out below us, not a light bulb for sixty miles in any direction, and…there was a woman. Trying to get home to her fiancé and a rehearsal dinner. Right shoulder is dislocated and left femur is broken. I guess the storm finally caught us. If I don’t get us wrapped in something…we’ll freeze to death before daylight.

Find Best Price at Amazon"It is quite hard to focus your story on just two characters and make it readable when you have to face the most challenging situation of an air crash but Martin doesn’t disappoint. It is not just a survival story, not just a romantic novel but much more than that, subtly hinting at the finer nuances of life, which seem less important when we have all the blessings on a platter but don't acknowledge them."
"It works ok most of the time except when he starts talking about things like his wife's tan lines and her hair blowing in the wind."
"I am new to Mr. Charles Martin's writing and I am sure I will be reading more of his books."
"What I felt so compelling was how I was instantly spell bound by how the words sprang to life inside the very depth of my heart’s soul."
"Save it for the dead of winter when the snow is falling and the wind howling."
"I hope they make more movies of Charles Martin's books."
"A doctor that is physically fit, survivalist, McGyver, does not panic, get upset or ever say the wrong thing. Ashley the main female character is supposed to be a modern day damsel in distress. And do you really think after a plane crash a woman would really ask if the other survivor finds her sexy and dreams of having sex with her."
"Ben is just too perfect...an orthopedic surgeon AND trauma doctor AND a wilderness expert who can shoot a bow AND a track star with epic stamina and strength even though he is starving at high altitude?? I almost tossed the book in the fire when I read that Ashley was " frolicking in the bathtub like a dolphin" while lost in the wilderness half starved with a broken femur?"

More than one hundred line drawings and a sixteen-page color insert reproduce some of the finest illustrations of the original book, while reset and reformatted text makes this edition of The Secret Teachings of All Ages newly accessible to readers everywhere. Readers who are unfamiliar with Hall's work will be at a loss in ferreting out which chapters have stood the test of time and which have been vigorously debunked (like the one on Islam, which actually uses novelist Washington Irving as a primary source on the prophet Muhammad).

"My family loved the first book in this series, and waited with baited breath for this book."
"Just when I thought the S. D. Smith could not top his previous book (The Green Ember), he masterfully spins an incredible tale, surpassing the first book in bravery and adventure."

"Our entire family has loved this book series."
"Like "Two Towers" or "The Empire Strikes Back", "Ember Falls" challenges us by stretching the characters we have come to love. Some of the stretching comes from having to learn to forgive and trust characters who have proven dangerous in the past but seem to be giving us good reasons to see them in a new light. These books are not just wholesome adventures, they are a battle for truth, goodness, and beauty in the moral imagination of our families. I am grateful that my children will grow up with friends like these who are informing their moral decision making and fostering their imaginative play."
"Very well written, full of action and intrigue, good and evil, courage and danger, loyalty and betrayal."

NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER Inspired by the incredible true story of one Jewish family separated at the start of World War II, determined to survive—and to reunite— We Were the Lucky Ones is a tribute to the triumph of hope and love against all odds “Love in the face of global adversity? Hunter sidesteps hollow sentimentality and nihilism, revealing instead the beautiful complexity and ambiguity of life in this extraordinarily moving tale.” — Publishers Weekly. But the true wonder of the book is how convincingly Hunter inhabits these characters, each modeled after her own family members. A brave and mesmerizing debut, and a truly tremendous accomplishment.” — Paula McLain , author of The Paris Wife and Circling the Sun. Georgia Hunter pulled me into another world, vivid, horrifying, astonishing, and heartbreaking.” — Lauren Belfer , New York Times bestselling author of And After the Fire , A Fierce Radiance , and City of Light . “ We Were the Lucky Ones is a skillfully woven reimagining of [Hunter’s] own family’s struggle for survival during World War II . This emotionally resonant, gripping portrait of the war is filled with beautifully drawn and wonderfully heroic characters I won’t soon forget.” — Jillian Cantor , author of Margot and The Hours Count. “Georgia Hunter has crafted her own family history into a sprawling, yet still intimate portrait of those swept up in the devastation of war and scattered to the winds. We Were the Lucky Ones is a compelling read, notable for Hunter’s clear portraits of her plucky, resilient family, and for her ability to build suspense and investment without emotional manipulation.” — Courtney Naliboff, ReformJudaism.org.

Not many writers want to talk about their family's history. For the first time, I feel completely satisfied and that's hard to achieve. We cannot deny the painful part of our prior history.
