Find Best Price at Amazon"If you have time yo study both Rita's book and Head First I HIGHLY recommend studying both! 2) Buy Rita's book and read as much as you can. 3) Get McGraw-Hill's PMP Certification Mathematics with CD-ROM to help with the math section (take the practice test on the CD-ROM) 1-2 days before the test. Take the first test to see where you are, study study study the knowledge areas where you are weak take exam 2 if you get less than 80 go back to Rita's book! 5) I LOVED Head First PMP but if you don't have time to study everything I would say to buy this book as a companion to Rita's book. This book is a fun read and makes the concepts easier to understand. 6) Make sure your referencing the PMBOK 5 (Most Important). During the exam (make sure your doing good on time before you follow these directions). 1) If you believe in prayer (PRAY) - ummmm you also do not need to tell anyone your taking the test, just in case........ 2) Breathe and relax. 3) Do the first 50 - 75 questions (Take a break, go to the bathroom, get some water, sit in the waiting room, just get away from the test). 4) Go back in do the next 25 - 50 questions (take another break). 5) Keep doing this until you finish. 6) Before you review your questions, take your final break come back review your questions, (I took another break!!!!!"

"Hopefully they fix the errors in the next printing for PMBOK 6. the silly cartoons and their light approach make learning easier and for that reason i do recommend this, but only paired with a more detailed and formal second resource like the PM Prepcast or Ritas book."

For someone in IT or management, this is a wonderfully balanced survey of e-commerce business structure and transaction process."
"I am satisfied with quality of service."
"PRO: good intro to ecommerce. CON: fails to go in depth if you know anything about computers. Had to buy for a class."
"As with all basic or intro textbooks, this author, Gary Schneider, touches on the main aspects of his subject matter. I know the author has written many editions, and I know this is probably tiring, but he really should take a vacation, clear his head, and come back and begin anew."
"Honestly, the book is old."
"Really enjoying this textbook ... very informative, but deep."
"I didn't really have any problems with the book, but if your teacher isn't assigning work straight out of the book I think you could likely get away with not having it."

Find Best Price at Amazon"As a project management instructor and course developer at a state university, a project management keynote speaker, and someone who has been training project managers for nearly two decades, I highly recommend this book. - You will need another book since many exam concepts aren't even covered in the PMBOK. I personally like PMP Exam Prep, Seventh Edition: Rita's Course in a Book for Passing the PMP Exam or CAPM/PMP Project Management Certification All-in-One Exam Guide with CD-ROM, Second Edition. - When submitting project experience on the application, you can submit work even if your title was not Project Manager. ***Update (Sep 2013)***. New editions of the books I linked to above were released: - PMP Exam Prep, Eighth Edition: Rita's Course in a Book for Passing the PMP Exam. - CAPM/PMP Project Management Certification All-In-One Exam Guide, Third Edition."
"So, go ahead and buy another book on studying for the PMP exam, but if that book covers any topic(s) that are NOT in THIS BOOK, you are learning content that is irrelevant for this exam. I bought Joseph Phillips study guide, and although it was helpful, there were many terms and content items NOT in the PMBOK guide, and therefore I did not get any questions on the real exam related to those terms/topics. Also, I took 5 practice exams from 3 different sources (one was from the Joseph Phillips CD) which turned out to give me false confidence because the real exam was a LOT harder. I recommend memorizing the 47 processes and being able to write them down in the chart before you take the exam."
"I mean - it's a boring text book, so what is there to love?"

I saw reviews talking about mistakes in the first printing and I wanted to be certain that I didn't receive the 1st printing, which I saw at a local BN bookstore today for $99.95."
"The most efficient way to study for the test is to read this book, try to understand it, take a three-day bootcamp course with a great instructor and take the exam a week after that. The PMP Exam: Quick Reference Guide, Fifth Edition (Test Prep series) by Andy Crowe was also pretty useful."
"Well I can tell you that those errors did not carry on to the test and the test followed the advice and lessons given in this book. Now I will not argue that the test in this book final and other wise was not in line with the actual test. I equate the tests in this book as being the walk phase in the crawl, walk, run concept of education and training. The system works just like the actual test and the questions are spot on.So if you want to have the real test questions then use the test bank. Memorize the equations in this book and you will have all the math you need to know for the test. In the end for me I looked and what I had marked as important for memorization and items I highlighted thru the book x3 times the week before my test and did the same with my PMBOK but only once."
"In addition, the book comes with a week long free pass to their website."
