"My affection for them is probably helped by being one of the few accessories made by Nikon that doesn't make my eyes widen and roll when I consider the price."
"It is critical to remove all dust before trying to remove smudges or the dust will be ground against the lens surface."
"I'm not sure what the purpose of that is, I'll definitely research, but the brush end works very well to clear dust from my lens!"
"My problems with this products were: 1) arrived damaged; 2) the cap does not fit the brush end (logical place to put it), so you cannot put it there while using the chemical tip, and you end with the camera, the lenspen and the cap on you hands, 3) the brush is starting after a week of frequent use, to were out leaving some hairs on the lens!!!! I will get another because it really works better and faster than the cloth but I would try the Lenspen brand to see if it last longer than the Nikon."
"The instructions for recharging the carbon pad were not very clear to me but I found a video on a popular video sharing site that explained it well."
"I read a lot of the reviews here and decided to take a chance with this, and oddly enough, it was a good decision on my part, for a change... :). The price is fair, the build quality is good, and best of all, it works as advertised."
"This is great for cleaning lenses on a VR HMD as it makes it very to maneuver into those hard to reach areas, with out risking a scratch."

Find Best Price at Amazon"First off, the older series was great to begin with BUT the new improved LensPen is simply even better in every regard and the absolute best lens cleaning method available, without exception. However, if there are smudges on the lenns, the carbon tip end will take care of that effortlessly by starting at the center of the lens and moving it in a circular direction working outwards. But, regardless of the lens cleaning method or tools you use, always be sure to remove larger debris, such as sand or dust, with a brush or blower before you use a cloth or the carbon end of the LensPen."
"Great product."
"The pen is extremely easy to use, does a superb job of cleaning the lenses, and has never come even close to scratching any lens that I've used it on."
"I love the new design because it takes the guessing out of whether or not one is getting the right amount of carbon on to the tip, since the cap is now a screw on one, and thus facilitates the entire process."
"If you care about your lenses, you need to clean them appropriately."
"When rain hit the UV filter protecting the lens, I could pen brush away the rain with one hand while maintaining my grip on the tripod with the other hand."
"The instructions advise using the brush first, then the pad, but in my first attempts with these instructions, there was always strange residue left from the pad."
"Now that I am using a Canon S120 (point and shoot) the cleaning side of this device doesn't do much cleaning."

"I've been using MagicFiber so long, they weren't called MagicFiber when I started. Used ones are great for cleaning phone screens, tablets, even the surface of solar cells."
"These MagicFiber cloths were a great find on Amazon."
"These 6 (5 black and 1 grey) cloths are great to have around, and it comes with plenty so I can keep one handy in all of my usual spots (desk at work, desk at home, bedroom, car, etc)."
":). An interesting thing I’ve noticed is that the grey cloth is made a bit more cheaply than the rest."
"Trying to clean 60" TV screens with a tiny microfiber cloth is like washing a car with a handkerchief. Finally, I turned off all the lights in the room and focused a bright flashlight on the screen. From my research, streaks and smudges that look like finger prints on the inside of screens are quite common and have several causes."
"Cell phone screens are clear of grim and finger prints, glasses are streak free and good to go, LCD computer screens are even cleaned with relative ease (with a bit of soapy water solution for stuck on messes)."
"Use these to clean my glasses on a regular basis."

"Helped rescue an X-T20 that had a spot on the sensor glass."
"I bought this to supplement the smaller bottle that ships with the Eclipse digital survival kit. It is important to keep this stuff tightly sealed at all times and minimize the amount of time you have the bottle open."
"I had some spots and smudges on my sony a6000 mirrorless camera sensor that i just couldn't get off."
"I had to buy an inferior product waiting for these to arrive."
"I did manage to get the bigger dust speck off the sensor but there are a couple of remaining spots that just won't come off."
"well i got curious because i never shot my d7000 at f16, so i tried it and it had over 300 spots and i had noticed they showed up at f9.5. My guess is the d7000 has the same issue as the d600 but good news is i've shot my d7000 which had about 9000 shots at time of cleaning another 1000 and i have no more spots still."
"I use this product exclusively now for all of my scope and binocular lens cleaning."

"I highly recommend the Rocket Air Blaster as a kinder, gentler alternative to canned air when you don't need or want the "violent oomph" of the canned alternative."
"It provides a nice blast of air to clean optics, camera bodies, keyboards, etc."
"I like to minimize dust intrusion during changing lens on my camera body even though they rarely affect my picture quality; I just don't like to have dust accumulate in my lens or camera sensor."
"Anyways, I love this thing."
"But I know one person who was blowing off their sensor with a two dollar china blaster - when the tip disconnected mid-puff - and the plastic piece struck the sensor inside the mirror box of their camera, causing a scuff mark on the sensor."
"These work very well, plus you don't need to worry about the tip popping out of these. This happened to me a few years ago when the tip of a cheaper blower popped out and damaged the focus screen on my Nikon D70."
"For years I've used a professional high pressure air compressor to clean certain gear, but due to the air compression there's more humidity found in the air."
