B+W 82mm Clear UV Haze with Multi-Resistant Coating (010M)
Because the glass is colorless, color rendition is not altered, aside from the elimination of the unwanted blue cast, and no increase in exposure is required. The lens elements of high-quality lenses and the plano surfaces of filters require a perfect shape and smoothness to achieve the best optical quality. Dirt, greasy fingerprints, water marks and scratches reduce the image contrast and the sharpness, which can result in blooming at light sources and have an effect similar to a soft-focus lens. A broadband effect can only be achieved with a multilayer coating which requires a much higher effort and precision because unevenness and irregularities of the individual layers build up on one another and amplify one another. Schneider therefore uses a plasma-assisted evaporation coating process in which inert gas ions accelerated in an electrical field compact the material deposited on the lens surface in the vacuum chamber. Another advantage of the F-Pro mount is its modified retaining ring, which is no longer threaded in from the front, but holds the filter glass in place from the back. "My wife bounced around the ladder, but had forgotten to snap the cover shut on the camera bag that she uses, and out flops her camera, lens first. My wife shoots weddings/families/portraits with a Canon 6D with L series lenses: the 24-70 f/2.8L II, the 70-200 f/2.8L II, the 100mm macro, the Sigma 50mm ART lens, etc... Now back to the camera flopping out of the camera bag."
"I purchased 2 of these 47mm filters for my A7 camera lenses, one for the Sony FE 28mm f/2 lens, and the other for the Sony 55mm F/1.8 lens."
"I've personally used a 67mm Tiffen UV protection filter for about 4 years. I recently purchased a EF-S 17-85 IS USM, and decided that instead of just buying another 67mm Tiffen, I'd invest in a B+W MRC filter and see what all the hype is about. I have noticed slightly better color depth on the B+W, but this is somewhat subjective and easily corrected in post-processing. Additionally a common cause of scratching is cleaning your lens with a speck of sand under the cloth."
"The threads on this filter are top notch and allow for a second filter to be chained (as someone who likes ND filters, this is important to me as adding an ND filter on top as opposed to taking it off and then putting on the ND filter saves a lot of time when you need that moment to get the shot)."
"There is no point putting crummy glass in front of a good lens."

"Wanting to use my 10.5 mm f/0.95 lens for extreme macrophotography but being unable to find 72 mm macro reverse rings for the micro four thirds mount, I got this to use with my 58 mm macro reverse ring and it works very well with no vignetting (corner darkening)."
"It came with the camera kit and the other lens was the new 18-50 MM weather resistant K mount lens that has 58 MM threads. I was going to buy another set of filters for the 58 MM one but knew that they had step-up adapter rings so I decided to search for a step-down adapter ring that would fit my lens and the lens filters. Also, this saved me money since the 49 MM filter kit was cheaper than a 58 MM filter kit and the step-down adapter ring enabled me to be able to use the 49 MM filters on the 58 MM lens without having to buy another set of lens filters. I was standing on a sidewalk and didn't want to drop the camera, adapter ring, or the glass lens filter I was using a the time onto the concrete."
"This Goja branded 58-49 step-down adapter worked well and threaded on (and more importantly, off) both my Canon lens (58mm ø) and the fisheye converter I was attaching to the front of it."
"Works as described."
"Goja 58-52 step-Down Adapter ring was precisely what I needed in order to use some close up lenses on my Nikon D50 camera."
"works like a dream I love these guys they provide superior products at competitive prices then always go above and beyond to keep you satisfied as a customer."
"I needed a step down ring to experiment with an older Olypus tele-extender on my current zoom lens, this did the trick!"
"This was just what I needed to make my wide angle lens work."

"Hey, it's a piece of aluminum - it shouldn't cost an arm and a leg as long as the threads are good quality, which they seem to be. Some reviewers on Amazon mentioned uneven finishes, and plastic construction; neither of which this one has. This one black anodized aluminum (I assume, it's very light) and the machining on the threads are even, cut well and precisely, at both ends. I probably will order more from this company, Goja, maybe to adapt to other lenses in the future or perhaps some filters."
"When I received it in the mail amazon actually sent me the wrong step up size but after talking to the seller (which were very nice people) they apologized and sent me out the correct size no hassle from their warehouse."
"I purchased the Chromo Inc CI55000230 Macro Ring 48 LED Power Light for Canon, Sony, Nikon, Sigma Lenses when it came up as a good deal a couple weeks ago, thinking that from the product description it "should" fit most any camera lens between all of the different ring size options. I finally did a thorough search to figure out what the exact mm size is for her lens... which after about 5 or 6 sites said the same thing, I now knew that the 40.5 - 52mm step-up ring is what was needed to FINALLY get her light ring working with her camera! We quickly got out her light ring and attached it to the 52mm adaptor ring in her kit, then carefully threaded on both of them to her camera."
"I lost the first one I bought in central America."
"Canon say on your 80-300 mm is 58mm but the nifty fifty is 49mm so can't use on the fifty, but a uv ircut lens in 49mm is $50 this saves you approx."
"It threaded easily and smoothly together with the lens and the filter I was using."

"I tried taking the same shots both with and without."
"A lot of websites on filters are for going pro camera folks, while I wanted some info on just amateur and regular photos, as I'm not a pro, never will be. I wanted this filter to improve family photos and vacation photos, so I'll leave a small blurb about what I found out the filter does."

Reviews
"So the tether wouldn't float into the shot, I tied the tether to the rear underside mounting point of my telescoping pole and made sure any extra slack in the tether's length was also secured out of the camera's lense view. In summary, this is a great red lense filter for about half the price of the other brands, including the obvious other brand!"
"My only complaint is that the tether floats into the shot, so it needs to be shortened or you need to try to wrap it all kinds of ways to get it tight."
"The filter itself stays snug on the camera lens so it won't just slip off so it's not a huge concern."
"The red is great for clear water like you might find in the Caribbean, but if you're diving in cold water like Monterrey, CA a magenta filter would be better."
"I expected a difference in color at scuba depths but was floored when I saw the video from my GoPro 4 with this filter attached."
"This red filter dramatically improved the quality of my videos and photos underwater."
"The product works great and was snug when I put it on. It wasn't until after I lost it that I learned it was supposed to include a string to tether it."
"Headed to GoPro to buy the expensive GLASS filter but for the cost of all I have spent on my dive trip... Drop in the bucket... Word to the wise... You really do get what you pay for!"

Reviews
"Through the years, I've carried around a series of prosumer cameras, from the Olympus C-2100UZ to the Minolta DiMage A1 to the Sony Alpha A300. I always lugged around a big, bulky purse because I used a fashionable camera bag for my handbag. I pretty much ditched my DSLR and compact camera in favor of the immediacy of editing and posting to social media. As the camera software got more sophisticated, I found I could get the images I wanted more easily with my phone than I ever could with my DSLR. I've seen add-on lenses for smartphones advertised on Facebook and other websites, but they've always looked chintzy and I doubted their quality. THE FIT: The spring on the clip portion is nice and tight, with a protective layer of foam that keeps it from marring the phone screen. THE GLASS - .6X WIDE ANGLE: The wide-angle lens is what you see when you remove the kit from the box. This combination allows a .6X expansion on the field of vision you see with your phone's camera lens. I don't know that I will use the wide-angle very much in day-to-day shooting because my phone already does great panoramas and has a good wide-angle lens to begin with. Be sure to put the cap on your wide-angle lens to protect the glass from scratches and dust. It means you will have nice crisp details of your subject close-up, but the background will soon drop off and blur."
"I'm going to show you guys How Amazing the shots look while using this 2 in 1 Camera Lens. Only Con: it is Heavy.. Really heavy. All of the Pictures have No effect added onto them, I took them all with the 2 in 1 Lens.."
"it is heavy, hence a serious product, although a deal breaker if you mount it on a phone with the motorized stabilizer. It is well packaged, it has a great clip-on cover and it even has a small bag for holding it and protecting it from dust, scratched .e.t.c This is a 2 in one lens."
"We were skeptical due to the first item that we've gotten, but I told my husband to check it first."
"This is a cool little lens."
"Bought for my wife and she loves it."
"It seems to work really well and the "clip" is extra strong so it is very stable on my iPhone 6s."
"However, I don't see future for this product as more and more phones are adding wide angle lenses within the phone it self."

"Bottom line up front: This kit is great when bringing some variety in the type of pictures that your smartphone can create. I use my phone often to take pictures of various things like all people and was extremely intrigued with the use and capability of the attachable lenses. If you have an especially bulky case, it may be difficult to attach and center the lenses on your phone. Disclaimer: I did receive this product at a discount however this does not influence my review of this item in anyway."
"Love these lenses, the only thing that would make them better is if they had easier to read labels identifying which lens was which."
"I purchase this set mainly for the wide angle lens. It's perfect."
"A nice touch was the robust case for the lenses, which protect them and make it easy to carry in my purse or backpack."
"It did not work for the camera on the back of the phone, but it did work well for the selfie camera."
"This has been a good thing all the time, and I've used it for some time and it's just as good as the first one."
"However, each lens has a secure cover that it would be easy to put all of them in a small soft bag and be safely carried around."
"Each lense does what it's supposed to do, and they're very fun to play with!"
