"Jason is one of the greatest guitar and this album was in his prime."
"Like a tragic opera. I can see (hear) the story of this woeful wraith alone with moan, and sorrow locked within this cellar, shrieking, screaming and wailing to be set free, The horror!"
"Amazing, especially considered when it was written."
"Damn good guitar player, one of his best albums."
"One word."
"Jason's best album, in my opinion, and I can listen to it on repeat non-stop without getting tired."

"Black Star has haunted my mind for the past 31 yrs!"
"Malmsteen fuses Blackmore with Al DiMeola and his own otherworldly technique, and creates this killer blend of (mostly instrumental) classical, fusion and metal."
"Yngwie is his own beast and started the neo classical shred era before anyone else thought it was cool."
"Barrie Barlow, the greatest rock drummer---according to John Bonham (many other prominent drummers, and my own opinion)---teams up with - young guitar hero."

"Already owned the cassette, time I upgraded."
Best Surf Guitar Rock

What really makes this disc a blast though is the way the quartet weaves 1960s pop signatures into every tune; warping "Woolly Bully" into "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town," "I Feel Fine" into "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer," and so on.

"kick out the jams SATNTA CLAUS."
"Great alternative to the traditional Christmas offerings."
"My all time favorite Christmas album, each starts with a Ventures instrumental version of a popular 60's pop song and then morphs into the various holiday tunes their inimitable surf influenced sound."
"The Ventures are my all time favorite band and Amazon has all their music."
"It's the Ventures, man."
"great to hear both the mono and stereo versions."
"Great sounding album."
Best Guitar Gods

Zep faithful will welcome the belated release as evidence for enduring loyalty, but younger fans may find its diversity and dynamics even more enlightening--indeed, whole careers have since been built on the musical ideas Jimmy Page and company toss off here as decorative filler. Crucially rooted in the amped-and-hammered American blues of the guitarist's former band, the Yardbirds , the marathon workouts of "Dazed and Confused" and "Whole Lotta Love" (which consume nearly an hour all by themselves) somehow encompass Ricky Nelson , Morocco, James Brown , Holst, Elvis Presley , and Muddy Waters amidst their trademark sturm und drang , while the acoustic set that closes out disc one showcases the band's--and particularly Robert Plant 's--good-natured, crypto-Celtic folk appeal with energetic aplomb.

"Its a 3 CD ...it has 18 amazing led zeppelin songs ...if I had a choice between this album and "the song remains the same " it would be no competition ...there are no bootlegs of this copy and it sounds great ...the only problem I have is that stairway to heaven sounds a little different than it "song remains the same" counter part."
"This is the live concert."
"If you like Zeppelin at all, do yourself a favor and get this album."
"Great live performances."
"Great stuff especially the acoustic numbers, 25 mins of Dazed and Confused does nothing for me, nor does 13 mins of Moby Dick."
"This is Zep at their absolute zenith and I will be purchasing this 3 CD set and the new DVD. Update February 2007: The purchase of this 3cd set and the DVD have proved to be very worthwhile purchases."
"The early days when they wen aout west without having an album released and they rock the crowd and won America over !!!!!"
