I only knocked off a star because 1) it does fit somewhat large; I ordered a small (I'm 5'4" and weighed 159 at 39wks pregnant when I delivered) and had quite a bit of extra room in it- the adjustable tie in front really helped to still give it a nice shape, though, and in the grand scheme of things I'd rather it fit a little big than too small."
"I originally bought this gown in black, and after I received that one and tried it on, my husband convinced me to get a second color as well. I kept the back unbuttoned from about halfway down, so it was always easy for the nurse to access my monitors and things. At first I was told I could wear it for my csection (babe was stuck in the birth canal with the cord around her throat), but the anesthesiologist asked me to put on a regular gown. We ended up just throwing the black one away as it was pretty messy and we didn't want to have to keep track of a dress covered in amniotic fluid for a couple days. The strings are super long, so I'd suggest cutting them before wearing in the hospital."
