In pre washed condition....the sleeves hang with my arms down to the topside of the middle of my hands. Arms outstretched the sleeves pull back above my wrists. I wore it yesterday with a polo shirt and a fleece underneath when temperatures were in the low thirties Fahrenheit; and I was comfortable. Original post: I just received my charcoal gray Wrangler denim jacket today and I really like it. Although it fit acceptably well as it was, I've soaked it in some warm water to shrink it a bit (even after it's shrunk, I think I could probably still wear a sweater or fleece underneath it). By the way, in case you decide to use a washing machine to clean it for the first time, I noticed after soaking it that the color does bleed."

"It often was an outer layer over shirts, sweatshirts, arm warmers etc, and during the dead of winter had a rain shell or insulated jacket over it. Well, the right waist cord lock is gone, but the left waist cord lock doesn't have an issue sealing the bottom of the jacket just below my butt. Having purchased both this jacket (Green/Charcoal Heather) and the India Ink/Boulder version, I can tell you that this one is exactly the same size as my old jacket. The collar is tighter than with my old jacket, but also a lower in the front, so zipping it all the way up around my thick head stand is comfortable. I like the collar being lower in the front, is is more comfortable when wearing face masks and balaclavas."
