Reviews
"It's a real bummer I really do like these boots and had hoped that they would last for a very long time but at this rate I don't see them lasting more than 6 months."
"I wish the bottom of the sole had a different tread pattern, or maybe a little bit of traction type tread. I absolutely love the way the boots fit."
"Was hesitant to spend this much on boots.. but very much liked the look of these, and have never owned a Diesel product to fairly judge them."
"But I did not think the Achilles portion of the boot would be so flimsy, causing a definite rub and chafe on the back of my ankle."
"The leather is slightly stiff, as expected, but after a few days of use they'll break in nicely."
"These just look cool."
"Keep them polished and they'll last a long while; I'm only now at over 2 years starting to feel the wear in the sole on my right foot, which for daily wear for that long, isn't meant to be a complaint."
"this is my first pair of boots ever!"

Reviews
"Excellent Boots! Ok, so I bought Frye Arkansas oxfords about 2 years ago and thought where has Frye been all my life?"
"A lot of reviews complain about these boots being uncomfortable, but if you've broken in REAL boots before, you wont be disappointed."
"I bought these because I have pretty much worn the tread off my previous FRYE boots (after about ten years of use)."
"I was originally looking for Frye engineer boots just because I liked the line, straps, and buckles on an engineer boot but for some reason Frye makes the shorter 8r engineer boot only for women and the men's boots in 12r (a bit too high for me). Growing up there wasn't anyone I knew that rode a motorcycle and didn't wear the Frye Harness boot so it seemed a bit cliche-sh to wear them...but in researching the way they are made--heavy rubber soles (like the engineer boot), 1.5 inch heel (not too high-but high enough), and they are 10" high (not to high-but high enough to protect your ankles and get the boot on your foot w/out ripping flesh off)."
"The second pair fit perfectly. The first pair that didn't fit, that I returned, were substantially lighter in color than the second pair which fit well."

"A solid, nicely made boot, but an odd design... kinda a cross between a chukka, a hiking boot, and a normal 6" boot."
"These are very high quality boots, I am extremely pleased with my purchase, and I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them to others."
"Top quality boot made in USA got the dark brown at bargain price with holiday discount.Leather laces soften with wear and the boot does also.Im a 9.5DM,and they fit perfect. Thanks Amazon."
"Very nice boots."
"They're Frye boots...nothing much else to say."
"No need to break them in; they instantly fit like I have owned them my whole life."
"i used to wear a Clarks desert boots then i decided to go for an upgrade.bought mine in the summer got it for less than $200."
"I have wide, flat feet so where I normally might order 11W for boots or sneakers, I got a 11.5 and these fit very well and are comfortable with medium to thick socks."

Reviews
"Magnanni's typically run 1 size large, no exception here."
"They fit a little big, but not enough to make me exchange for a smaller size."
"Was looking for a reliable shoe that could be resoled and was not sure how a rubber sole would do. The choice is either fashion that does not last or something that lasts forever but is not attractive. They were also loose at the sides. Aldo has a nice tan shoe has the more common rubber outsole as my Nunn bush and not as elegant but effective last but at least the sizing is right. I returned it before I could rate it's color fastness but it does seem to be a cheap patina applied instead of any true tanning process. Not extremely familiar with fake painted on toes except for Hugo Boss and similar but the color wasn't coming off the toe but the "rich" cognac multi hued sides heel and even the bottom. Apparently they can get away with sizing errors and temporary color treatments because the shoe is so attractive. All that together turned me from from this company as it was confusing Spain with Mexico and implying this was a cheap brand that was euro styling but cheap north American labor asthetics."
"This is saying a lot bc he is extremely picky about shoes and is very fashion forward."
"Very elegant shoe."
"I never thought I would pay this much for a shoe (I usually by under $150)."
"Perfect fit, and great quality!"

Best Men's Contemporary & Designer Fashion Sneakers

Diesel Men's Gunner Lace-Up Fashion Sneaker
Renzo Rosso created the Diesel brand in 1978, choosing the name because it is easy to understand, pronounced the same way around the world, and has a rugged feel about it; at that time, diesel was also considered an "alternative energy" so it was representative of an alternative taste in casual wear. Retro-inspired sneaker featuring lace-up vamp and logoed stripe at lateral side.
Reviews
"I had tried them on and walked around the living room, packed them up and returned them and ordered a half size bigger replacement. The sole is a bit thin, which I expected for shoes of this style, but I figure if it gets to be a problem, I'll get some Superfeet inserts. I got those for my snowboard boots, even though the original sole was pretty comfortable, but the Superfeet were just a couple of levels better, and they were one of the best purchases I've ever made."
", I wish diesel still made cool shoes like these, nowadays they make ugly sh**."
"The shoes fit a bit large in toe length. I first bought a 9.5 which is my normal size shoe."
"my absolute favorite shoe in the past 5 years."
"These shoes look good, fit well, & I get a number of compliments on them."
"Not as supple and soft as the the pair I was trying to replace, but still a comfortable, well made and great looking sneaker."
"there isn't zero arch support, but it isn't great, which is ok for me. if you run your hand through the inside of the shoe, you can feel cushion in the heel that runs just past the arch and then thins out the rest of the way to the toe."
"The lightest grey area on the website photo is quite a lot darker, while the darker grey areas in the website photo are actually very dark."

"Also, the shoe cam with some blemishes which for a 160 dollar shoe is less forgivable."
"I generally wear Sperry Top Sider Gold Cup driving mocs, but the quality of them has gone downhill quickly, and I find myself having to replace them in about a year."
"I bought these as a Christmas present for one of my sons and had another son, whose feet are just a tad bigger than his brother’s , try them on."
"I wanted a loafer with soft leather, snug fit, and a driver's heel (most drivers fit this bill). Admittedly, they are not as comfortable as some other driving loafers I've worn."
"Update: 7/4/2014. The shoes have stood up very well over the past year."
"I wore them for a day with thinner socks and noticed them begin to stretch and loosen up to a very comfortable wear now."
"* the sole is thin enough to look chic, yet strong enough to support well. Just not worth the price given that it fell apart within 2 months of average wear (3-4 days per week)."
"After about 2-3 months of wearing them once a week they ended up with holes in the toe area."
