Well, I was not contacted (except for some helpful email updates) and I was NOT charged. Today, in a world where things are "meant to be thrown away" and companies so rarely seem to deliver on their promises of "Lifetime Warranties" and exceptional customer service. Any company that stands behind their products and especially one that takes care of their customers to such a great degree, is worthy of my hard earned money 8 days a week! The way that they conduct business has COMPLETELY skyrocketed my view of them and their products after seeing this brand new pair of boots delivered to my door, no questions asked, JUST because I was a customer of theirs. After only a month of wear the soles started to separate from the upper. They have never been abused, nor dunked in water other than the occasional rain storm to get in or out of the car."
