Shapewear experts and occasional wearers alike told me the same thing. If you are sweating, pushing, poking, shoving, and out of breath by the time they are on, you have a size that is probably too small. Just a little piece of information I wanted to include for those who know nothing about this stuff, which is how I was at the beginning of my search. As to the negative reviews, I have never had them pill, although I almost always wash in cold and dry in gentle cycle.
