"I was going crazy... running around to different outlets in my apartment, warming my hands because I thought the touch power button wasn't recognizing the touch of my finger, plugging and unplugging the power cord from the light pad, searching through my box of old cords from years of old electronics, reading through reviews to find solutions, etc. After playing with the connection for a few minutes, I realized that when I wiggled the end of the power adapter, I would get the little red light to come on (indicating power). Then I realized if I squeezed both of the light pad sides together just around the plug's end to make the connection snug, the power would work just fine."

Best of all if used with a simple photo editing program like the free Irfanview program with its "Autocorrect" setting and it will adjust the brightness, contrast, lighting and color temperature, all at one time."
"I used this for converting slides, didn't try it on negatives yet, and it worked fine. I learned after scanning for awhile that you can get a little control over that issue by saving the scan before it completely scans the slide, but you have to experiment with it. You can plainly see when it is time to clean as you will see little specks on the screen with no slide installed. When you scan 12 slides you will then be required to save them to the computer."
"Loading was straight forward, and, if you read the instructions, the operations screen is adequate (it is not "obvious" what to do if you don't read the instructions). It seems most could use a tweak or 2 with a photo finish software, but some just don't reproduce no matter what I try."

"This is a tiny camera which shoots both photos and videos that it can save onto a micro SD card (not included) or can be used in conjunction with an iOS or Android device in order to take photos or videos or monitor whatever the camera is pointing at continuously through an app. The camera is small and cleanly designed with three buttons controlling functionality - one for power, another for Wi-fi, and another for taking pictures/shooting video. The camera charges via an included USB cable, but it cannot receive continuous power from the cable while shooting video so you can't set it up as a security camera as it will run out of juice after a few hours of recording (and the amount of data you can save will be limited to your SD card's capacity as well). The video is shot through a fish-eye lens and actually looks quite decent for this type of camera. The price point on this camera at the time of this review was about 20% cheaper than it's nearest competitor (a very similar camera in size and functionality made by Polariod)."
