Find Best Price at Amazon"I discovered the audiophile world (or rabbit hole, depending on who you ask) several months ago, and have enjoyed trying various headphones + DACs/AMPs + hi-res tracks over that time. My goal is to (1) find combinations I like and stick with them vs endlessly salivating over things I don't own, (2) find good values that fit my lifestyle and make common sense (e.g. no telling my kids they can't go to college because I need new headphones, but also not fooling myself into thinking a $20 pair will somehow sound summit-fi) and (3) never become the guy who uses snooty "audio sommelier" terms I read all too often on message boards. In the DAC/AMP world I've already gone through the Fiio Q1 (was fine, but didn't really do much for me) and the OPPO HA-2 (looked super slick -- made everything louder -- but ultimately was too harsh/sterile in the treble dept). I'm playing it through an iPhone 5s connected via the Apple CCK (using Onkyo HF Player), an iPod Touch 6th Gen (through Korg's iAudioGate) and also through my Macbook Air (using Roon). If you haven't read up on Roon I'd highly recommend it --- it allows you to play higher res tracks on your Mac computer...it's a lot more fun/intuitive/exploratory than the native iTunes player...it integrates with Tidal...and it absolutely makes your music sound better. Also, there's more separation between instruments, creating the "space" that you read about, so it feels like you're in the studio surrounded by musicians rather than just being presented a wall of sound. Also, geeky cool thing that's actually helpful: the dragon on the device glows and changes colors, to tell you what sample rate your music is. I spent about a week with it, and my 100% honest-to-goodness takeaway was: I personally could not hear an audible difference between the DragonFly Red and the Mojo. And Red is 1/3 the cost, firmware upgradeable, much more discreet/portable and never requires charging (I already had one annoying instance where I sat down to listen to music, but Mojo's battery died 10 minutes later and had to be recharged for 3 hours)."

The inner foam and cloth shield that covers the electronics is easy to install but I had trouble with the double-sided tape that holds them in place - the adhesive did not want to release the cover strip and I had real difficulty peeling that strip away without ripping the actual cloth. More noticeable, though, is that the pads are not as effective as the originals for passive noise canceling. I would not say the difference is enough to render the earphones' ability to cancel noise completely compromised, but they are definitely not the same. The difference in noise canceling ability is most noticeable when working in an environment with reverb."

"8/28/2017 UPDATE: The review and the pictures below are accurate for the TV mount I purchased on 01/26/2015. I didn't use the included lag bolts because of the poor quality complaints in previous reviews. I didn't want to take the chance to strip the included bolts so I bought 5/16-9 2-1/2 lag bolts from Lowes (item 63396) and a box of 1/4" Toggler bolts (Lowes item 118084). On one of the 65" TVs and the 50" TV, the 2x4 studs were spaced perfectly and I was able to mount them using 4 lag bolts each. On the other 65" TV, the stud was about 2" off center so I put 2 lag bolts in the stud and 4 toggler bolts in the left and right most holes."

I found out that there are indeed two adjustment knobs on the screen that will change the travel distance of the screen both in the up and down direction. Lower the screen a bit using the control box button, press the stop button and then raise it back up. When it stop turn the control, and as you do the screen will either raise or lower (depending on which way you turn the wrench) a small amount. To adjust the down direction you do the same procedure using the other control adjustment...you simple lower the screen all the way using the control box and then make the fine adjustment by turning the control knob using the wrench. UPDATE: 4/22/15. As I posted in my original review I was a little disapointed when I discovered that the projector remote was RF (radio frequency) controlled and not IR (infrared) controlled as stated in the ad. This is only because I use a Harmony remote to easily control all my AV gear with a simple click of the remote, and it only works with IR controlled device. Having an extra remote to simply raise and lower the screen really bugged me, since most all my home is automated to some degree and I also wanted the projector screen to be included in that category. Since the Homegear screen also has a manual control box that can be used to raise and lower the screen it seemed possible to wire in the MK-161 to the Homegear control box to simulate actually pressing the keys when the relay closed to raise and lower the screen. The next perfect thing was that the Harmony already knew about the MK-161in it's database, so it was easy to add the codes to my remote and then add the device into my Harmony activities so that everytime I selected "watch a movie" on the remote it would send the IR codes to the MK-161, which in turn would pulse the appropriate relay and manually make the switch in the Homegear control box temporarily close-- the same was if I had pressed the actual button on the control box. I ended up putting the MK-161 in a project and mounting next to the Homegear control box and you'd think it actually came with the screen. UPDATE: 5/3/16. It's been over a year now and I just wanted to follow-up and let everyone know that the screen, projector and MK-161 control box is still working flawlessly."

It could be as many as 4 successive steps with just 1 button being pressed...So, it could take about 10 LONG seconds (I'm used to it now). You have to keep remote aiming properly during this time...So often I have seen people press the WATCH TV button and then put the remote down once the TV turn on...NOPE...thats asking for trouble...you SHOULD KEEP AIMING IT for about 10 long seconds....and hopefully all your components are roughly in the same direction of where u are aiming. Solution: I hit the Watch TV button while I cup my hand and cover the front of the remote (blocking the signal) so that the "remote" goes into the correct mode, but the "signal" to power the TV doesn't reach the TV....thus I'm back in the correct watch TV mode without disrupting my TV viewing."

In order for a HDMI cable to have a "High-speed" moniker, it must be capable of showing resolutions up to 4K --> 3840 x 2160 at 30fps (or 4,096 x 2160 at 24fps). And as the highest resolution any 4K TV currently on the market can produce is 3840 x 2160 at 30fps, even if you found a $100 cable at your local BestBuy that claims it can transmit much more than that, it doesn't matter as you are limited by your source (i.e your cable box, Xbox, PS4 e.t.c) and your TV's hardware capabilities. "On my tv the hdmi ports are recessed on the side with the flat top side facing out, so plugging in the adapter makes the connection point at the back of the tv (actually it doesn't even physically fit as the depth is too shallow). So if the inclusion of the adapter is factoring into your decision at all be sure to check the device you want to use it with for the orientation of the hdmi port. Especially considering it was more or less my fault when ordering do to my ignorance of the industry accepted orientation for a 90 degree hdmi adapter (which is dumb really, as I stated in my original review what 99% of what most people will need is what is being considered a 270 degree adapter, which I suspect 90% of people ordering these cables will not know that and it is not stated in the item description). I would still rate this product alone as it is currently sold as a 4 star package due to the poor decision of including the adapter version that will be useless for 99% of people in 99% of common hdmi equipment installs, well maybe a 4.5 due to the comically low price for 2 cables and freebies."
