I always thought that since the frequency range cut off fairly high, port noise wouldn't be a problem, but boy, was I wrong. Anytime whatever was playing dipped under 40hz, I was met with farting, burping, and fluffing air sounds that instantly put me off. Note: The grill did arrive smashed up on the PSW505 due to the bad packaging on Polk's part, but a quick call to them got them to send a replacement free of charge."

The veneer almost looks like black brushed aluminum, and the golden cone is nice to look at. Update 9/24/16: Well, after three months of normal use, the driver developed a rattle. They said nope, we won't honor the warranty because Bubba Goo Goods is not an authorized Klipsch dealer, and we can't vouch for them or their equipment. Amazon pricing is great, and we take advantage of the deals, but buyer beware."

The sound bar is wrapped in a plastic bag to cover it from dust and there’s removal adhesives on the sides of the sound bar for covering up from scratches or dust. The front panel of the sound bar has LED indicators to let you know when the sound bar is in a specific mode of operation, powered on, or on standby. The downside that I had about the sound bar is that there’s not a visible volume meter to know how high you’ve cranked up the volume on the sound bar or if it’s reached the max output of volume. The bottom of the sound bar has nice and thick rubber stoppers to prevent the sound bar from sliding around easily if you put this on a flat smooth surface. Definitely an improvement in sound quality with this sound bar than without it. In fact, everyone needs a TV sound bar for the modern TV’s they buy because TV makers have slimed down the design of the TV and sacrificed audio quality by placing it on the backside where you rely on having the sound bounce against the wall to hear it back at you. With this TV sound bar, there’s a much better experience with the sound projected towards the front of you like how old TV’s used to be. If there’s anything else to see improve for this sound bar, it’s to allow it to sync up with the TV when you power it ON and power it OFF."

You've got a 2-inch speaker trying to produce full frequency range, which is basically a joke. I think the only reason this is rated water-resistant instead of water-proof is because a cheap, more-plastic-than-rubber material was used for the USB port cover. As a computer tech, I like that this unit can actually be disassembled at least partially and reassembled with a screwdriver (instead of glue that's impossible or snaps that break)."

"I was just browsing electronics products and saw that MPOW now released a waterproof bluetooth speaker! I was in search of a reliably, affordable bluetooth speaker for kayaking last summer, but never found one, until this one popped up on my page! I felt so secure with its build that, while playing music, i dropped it from shoulder height onto the (hard) kitchen floor. I started playing my favorite music (wireless), and put these speakers underneath the kitchen faucet, streaming heavy water. Of course, the music got a little faded when I poured half a gallon onto the main driver, but a little shake and it was playing absolutely fine again. I'd go as far as to say this will hold up to full submersion - It will be absolutely fine for rainy & muddy weather, with the added benefit that it's really easy to clean - Just spray it off! EDIT: After 6 months of wear and tear, this unit has been dropped in the river (it does float for a few seconds!! No issues with bluetooth signal dying, no major physical damage, and the audio is as loud and crystal clear as the day I got them! I'm not quite sure how MPOW has managed to pack such a great product into this box, but this is excellence in engineering."
