"Side by side comparisons vs the original Japan controller (as most likely noted by numerous reviewers here) are that the buffalo controller is slightly lighter, slightly thinner and vs the original famicom pad, the dpad is slightly elevated on the buffalo controller. I've attached numerous photos comparing the weight of the 2 game pads and thickness at various parts of the controller. Yes there are minor differences but the price gap between a real one and this one is FAR beyond the point of diminishing returns in my opinion unless you're a collector, which in that case, you most likely already have one or more of the original game pads anyways."

"As an example, the joystick trigger for me fires my primary weapon; if I hold Button 5, it performs a boost; if I hold Button 6, it targets my wingman's target; if I hold Button 7, it locks me onto my wingman's navigation target. There's plenty of buttons, and with modifiers, you'll only rarely need to use the keyboard, and then only for the less common functions. Mapping it to the throttle AXIS will cause it to behave like a real throttle—nudging it halfway forward causes the ship to increase speed to 50% engines, and pulling it back to zero stops the ship."
"You can also detach the throttle form the flight stick, however I had to return this item because the cable in which you seperated the two is just to short from reaching around my keyboard, (a normal keyboard should be ok, however i have a Logitech with g keys on the side, making it a little longer size then your standard keyboard). "Being able to bind buttons as shift functions increasing the amount of controls to the HOTAS, also allows the set up of different profiles. The twist can be locked closed, the throttle detached, the buttons completely reprogramed with non volatile memory, stick has adjustable tension. Throttle only recognizes forward with indent being 50%(fault of star citizen I presume or I may have missed something, but that game is a mess)."
"I'm a casual jet and helicopter pilot in Battlefield 3, and for such a player and at the price, this product an excellent solution. If you're playing Battlefield 3, there's a workaround that involves editing a game .txt file, and I suppose other applications will have similar solutions. Of note (I feel): while some people complain of the halfway stop in the throttle stick, I find myself not even noticing it. Caveat: Battlefield 3 isn't designed with pilots in mind (we're six players out of sixty four, generally), so applications with more attention paid to air maneuvers might be less forgiving of this budget joystick."

At first, I used it on the tightest setting, feeling that I use a lot of pressure to move the stick, but soon realized that the normal, non-tense setting had enough resistance to balance my inputs. There is no need for third party software to configure the bindings, though you may occasionally want to use the properties menu to calibrate the stick."

"Assuming the transceiver is listed in 'Devices and Printers' (in Control Panel) but the controller isn't registering with the transceiver then the following method worked for me and the controller/gamepad is working perfectly now. Microsoft 'documentation' for this controller is pitiful or non-existent..they don't even tell you where the sync button is on the controller to effect the method listed below.....it's a small button on the very front of the controller."

At this point in the development of Star Citizen I don't recommend buying any kind of stick or HOTAS (hands on throttle and stick). Beyond that I really only need full throttle and full stop, which I can get with voice command or a quick double tap of W or S. There are a lot of buttons on the throttle which is nice, but there's a lot of buttons on my keyboard too. Basically if you're not going to get something with toggle switches and double thruster control like the "Mad Catz Saitek Pro Flight X-55 Rhino H.O.T.A.S." or the "Thrustmaster Hotas Warthog Joystick" (and there may never be a reason to) then save $15 and go with the Logitech you'll be happy."

It worked great with 100% accuracy and I was reliving my nostalgic days of old when I used to go to the arcade and spend my lunch money from school on this amazing game. My only guess as to how this could have happened would be the built in recoil system that probably knocked it loose or something."

"As a specific example, prior to this update if you wanted to launch an app from the "Make" menu, you had to use the OUYA controller, now this is no longer the case, you can fully navigate and select apps using the arrow keys and OK button. As for my durability concerns, the keyboard is still holding up, but it gets a little creaky if you squeeze it with even a small amount of force. On the OUYA, I had to power the system off and on to get it to recognize the H7 for the first time, but it's worked fine ever since then. The device is incredibly light, with some more heft and higher quality materials I'd be more confident in its prospects of surviving a long time. The only other negative thing I have to say is that on VERY rare occasion so far its seemed a key has repeated a little faster than desired when pressed. However, using this makes web browsing and navigating non-game apps much more smooth and efficient than with the OUYA controller and I still highly recommend it."

The quality of the build is fantastic, and everything works as its supposed to. But the tightening screws have a 'pop-out spring' mechanism where the tightening knob pops out a bit to give you more grip length, you tighten it hand tight, then when you push it back in, a spring tightens it just a sinch more to be sure its super snug and doesn't move."

"The leather pads are soft and conform around your ears well including isolating you from any ambient sounds in your home. Generally, they (feel) very light on your head, and after three or four hours of gaming, your ears are not all sweaty and hot. For you dudes that have large ears or wear earrings, especially those big suckers, you may be out of luck. If there were a lot of problems with this product they’d lose money on a two year warranty. Packaging is top notch, beautiful, well designed and is another clue that you are getting something pretty good. The box is built like Fort Knox and all the doo-dads are packed firmly away in foam. "As an example, when playing Overwatch I'll set my DPI rather high when using Junkrat but drop it nice and low for Widowmaker. Or, while playing the Witcher 3, I'll adjust my DPI on the fly if I'm fighting, going through conversation options, or navigating my inventory. I've even used it on fabric furniture arms for gaming, which wasn't ideal due to drag... but the mouse tracked perfectly nonetheless. Despite the assertions of many hardcore gamers, they cannot detect lag from a device like this; a wireless mouse is absolutely adequate for gaming. The average human brain has a response ceiling at around 12ms, so claiming one can detect input lag on a 2ms mouse is ludicrous. CONCLUSION: If you want a SOLID gaming mouse that is comfortable, durable, and versatile, that combines outstanding battery life and game-ready performance, I recommend you consider this device."

The directions it gives you to do so are incorrect, and I had to restart it several times before figuring out what the issue was. I have also been reading reports of people accidentally bricking the device when trying to update, so be extremely careful and don't reboot until AFTER the update has been completed, not before like it tells you to."

I have owned in the past. -Corsair K70 RGB [Cherry MX Brown]. -Corsair K65 RGB [Cherry MX Red]. -Razer Black Widow Ultimate [Razer Greens]. -Logitech G910 Orion Spark [Romer-G]. -Logitech G810 Orion Spectrum [Romer-G]. Corsair took their K70 and turned it into something that people like me would love, without the hassle of buying things like "o-ring switch dampeners" to lessen noise and reach the lowest possible actuation point. I was looking at getting Cherry MX Browns and new several companies used those switches, but Corsair was my answer when I found out how fantastically built their keyboards were compared to the competition. Even if you're unable to comprehend what on Earth you're supposed to do to make the sickest lighting possible for your set up, there are always downloadables from the Corsair Forums that people have shared. It looks sharp, has smooth transitions between colors, and the letters on the keys are actually larger than on Corsair's original K70 and K65 RGB. I play a lot of Counter Strike Global Offensive and want equipment that just feels right for me when I'm trying to, very quickly, strafe left to right between shots. The Rapid Fire Switches are very comparable to Cherry MX Reds or Blacks, but with a much shorter actuation. When I owned my Cherry MX Reds and Browns I took time to install those darn o-rings that took forever to put on. Building a keyboard with a shortened actuation without the need of o-rings really solved my own personal issues I've had with other companies products. Recap. - High quality build. - Brushed aluminum body. - Enlarged letter sizes to enhance lighting effects. - Easy to clean. - Corsair's sail logo. - Comes with wrist rest [rubberized plastic]. - Media Keys are always helpful to have on these keyboards. - Switches feel smooth and are pleasant to type with. I will update as needed if something breaks, stops working, etc."
"I'm reviewing the Corsair Gaming K70 LUX RGB (MX Cherry Brown). I bought this keyboard because I wanted a few things; full size, RGB backlighting, dedicated media controls, MX Cherry Brown. This is entirely preference, and my advice is to test them out in person, either on a display model or a sample switch pad. RGB Backlighting - This is a great feature, although its often sold for gaming purposes, I generally use my keyboard for work. One useful utility I found for the RGB control is to make the Caps Lock key change to red if I hit it. Another thing is if I ever catch myself in the middle of a pride parade, my keyboard can double as a virtual rainbow flag. Additionally, the 5 dedicated controls (Mute - Stop - Back - Pause/Play - Next) have RGB lighting in them. It makes sense, and works well with the number row on the top of the keyboard, but personally, I don't like how it looks on the punctuation keys. Wishlist (cons): Non-Standard Bottom Row - This is the major complaint I see from "keyboard enthusiasts" online. Anytime a company doesn't adopt an industry universal or standard, it should raise some red flags. Again, this is no fault of Corsair, but part a problem in the Cherry switches and "plate mounting"."

Well for a mechanical keyboard, it does not feel much different from the raised membranes of a K50, largely because the Cherry-MX brown switches are fairly quiet and have only a medium activation point.
