"Then choose 129 (if you have HD, and I hope you do), then adjust the skew (4 nuts, and rotate like a steering wheel) until you have good signal on 129. if the arm isn't bent all to hell (like mine) 110 shouldn't change at all."

Very powerful Digital Satellite Signal Meter Finder which is able to find satellites in a very quick way about within 15 minutes if no accident. Connect a jump cable from LNB to the satellite finder's "Satellite" port. Plug in the AC cord and turn on the satellite receiver. c> Set the dB to be 1 or 2 by ATT button, the signal LED will show from 15 to 30, then you can adjust the dish postition, when you hear the buzzer alert and the value of signal strength getting more and more, it means you get the statellite signal. d>. PS: work great with directv hd swim signal; it uses 2X1.5v lithium batteries.

Find Best Price at Amazon"I was so tired of setting up my tripod dish and then putting everything away while camping. It is not the manufactures of these dishes fault for the loss of HD, but it it the way DirecTV delivers their signal. If you must have HD with DirectTV you must purchase a Winegard Traveler which will cost more then a grand more then this dish and it will have to be permanently mounted on the roof of your RV. You can use this model with dish network, but you will need to by the King UC1000 universal controller for less then a hundred dollars. I hope this helps you understand the local programming and maybe you will not have to spend the hours of research I did before I bought the King Quest."
"After some Internet research, I discovered a recommended iPhone app for locating the satellites in the sky--it turned out all the Dish Satellites were behind trees where we were parked, so that was the problem all along! There is another app I have used which is also good but shows all the satellites and was confusing for me, it is called Satellite Locator."
"I have thrown in the towel and ordered a Winegard, which can be used with the 211z receiver. [Update April 20] I received the new satellite dish today from Amazon, the Winegard Dish Playmaker. After rebooting the receiver, the Winegard locked onto the 3 satellites and I was up and running with all channels, including locals, coming in perfectly in HD -- no choppiness, no drops, no defaulting to SD. After a couple of hours, it started raining and the dish was still pulling in everything perfectly. It wasn't the 211z receiver, it wasn't Dish network, it wasn't customer service, it wasn't the U.S. Air Force -- it was the lousy King product. [Update May 2017] I decided to remove the dome of the King dish (don't do this, it voids your warranty if you still have one) to see what could have caused my bad experience."
