Find Best Price at Amazon"However, other than the frequent over heating and the smoke which led our management to require us to have fire extinguishers nearby, the shredder did not jam once. This shredder would be great in a home office but I would suggest something bigger and faster for those evidence eliminating binge sessions."
"I love how quiet this shredder runs."
"Had it for several months and has chewed through some fairly large piles of papers. It will shut itself off when it gets too hot, unlike the cheaper brand that this replaced after it simply died after only a couple of months."
"This means that every minute or two you will need to open it up and push down the accumulated shreads in order to fill up the bag. Not a big deal for occasional use – but when trying to shred for 5-10 minutes at a shot it gets frustrating pretty quickly."
"I researched and spent the extra money for this model and it was well worth it!"
"Pros: this machine can easily handles over ten pages, it provides cross cut finish, has a large capacity for refuse with pull out drawer rather than the lifting off the paper cutter to take out the trash. My advise, spend the extra money and forget about having to baby your home shredder until it finally dies, get a Fellowes!"
"The shredder has a built in function that will stop, then reverse, then go forward again in extra heavy mode if you put something too thick in it."

Style: Shredder. 8 minute continuous run time with 45 minute cool down time; Auto start and manual reverse to clear paper jams.

Find Best Price at Amazon"PROS: - Micro-cut produces nearly 8X more particles than cross-cut. - Quiet for a shredder. - Pullout basket comes out and goes back in easily. - Large 6.7 gallon capacity bin. - Caster wheels for easy mobility. CONS: - Lacks secondary safety lock. - Blindingly-bright power LED. MICRO-CUT VS CROSS-CUT. The biggest advantage of the AmazonBasics over my old W-11C is the micro-cut feature. Here's a breakdown of the different cut types: strip cut: security level 2, 39 strips per 8.5" x 11" sheet. cross-cut: security level 3, 399 particles per 8.5" x 11" sheet. micro-cut: security level 4, 3,000 particles per 8.5" x 11" sheet. That's almost eight times the number of particles from cross-cut to micro-cut. It removes easily when you need to empty it and goes back in pretty smoothly as well. The three-position auto/off/reverse switch works well, but is the only way keep the shredder off, other than unplugging it. I always unplug the shredder when I'm not using it, but if you like to keep yours plugged in, just keep in mind that there's no additional lock."
"I've shredded credit cards, CDs, and paper with this sucker and not one thing has jammed it. -transparencies. -laminated documents. -cardboard. -any items with adhesives. -hard materials or plastic (except credit cards and CDs). I admit to shredding windowed envelopes, continuous forms (like those credit card balance transfer checks), and ad mailers that have cards stuck to them with strips of adhesive. It's quiet. It shreds 12 sheets of paper, credit cards, and CDs as stated in the product description. It can run 8 minutes plus without overheating (it hasn't overheated on me yet). It hasn't jammed. The bin is a good size to not have to empty it frequently. The micro-cut is fabulous. It wheels around smoothly, no creaking or squeeking, and is easy to move around. Striker (the cat) loves the end results :)."
"I can even shred that junk mail without opening it and stretching it out like I had to so my old shredder would not go 'hermitle' (think 'hermit crab retreating into its shell and glaring with its beady red eye (sic 'light')). The shred is also nice little 2 cm squares and do not fly around/grab onto/annoy me like the slips of paper from my old cross-cut shredder (those suckers would stick to everything and were able to achieve flight from me just breathing near them)."

Style: Shredder. 2 minute continuous run time with 30 minute cool down time; Auto start and manual reverse to clear paper jams.

Find Best Price at Amazon"The items you run into the machine are diagonally cross cut instead of the straight line cutting (pictures attached). Anyone with time on their hands can sit down and place all of your straight line cut documents back together which is why I recommend you stick to the diagonally cross cut feature at the least - which this one offers. Micro-cutting is the ultimate feature to have. If you do happen to jam it or it slows down because you added to many pages at one time it does have a reverse switch."
"I want to preface this review by saying that I purchased the AmazonBasics 12-Sheet High Security Micro-Cut Paper/CD/Credit Card Shredder with Pullout Basket, and that thing is absolutely wonderful. If you have a bunch of shredding to do, consider the bigger shredder- AmazonBasics 12-Sheet High Security Micro-Cut Paper/CD/Credit Card Shredder with Pullout Basket."
"If you put more than 6 pages, the motor bogs down but will slowly chew through it- I've done that a few times where it just stopped. There is a safety switch on the back that only allows the shredder to work while in the supplied can (this prevents chopped fingers if you don't unplug it while cleaning the teeth out; BUT if you want to shred into a bigger container, you aren't able to.)."
"I bought this to shred some extra personal documents I had around the house and it works great."
"Also, if you shred several documents in sequences, the machine will overheat and shut itself off."
"A few days ago I tossed in some insurance documents--about 6 pages worth--and the shredder jammed halfway through. I put it in reverse, and it made noises like it was in reverse, but the documents did not come out."

Just open the bag, place the ribbons spools into the spools cups, feed the ribbon through the ribbon guides of your typewriter and begin typing. The FJA Products Ribbon has the eyelets for the auto-rewind feature and the ribbon is 48 feet long.

"I recently came across a 1939 Smith Super Speed, and while it came with an old metal spool that worked fine, I wanted to save that and opted to get a ribbon I could use to freely write whenever."
"Ribbon was purchased for a 60s era Underwood Touch-Master 5, because I thought I wanted a single color ribbon."
"nice to have an old typewriter working."
"Nice solid inking and works great with my Underwood Five."
"Love that this tape fits my vintage Hermes 3000."
"Unfortunately, the ribbon arrived very dry."
"It may have just been the typewriter, but the ink was not dark or clear from this ribbon."

I printed out labels using a Brother P-Touch PT-2030 and the DYMO LabelManager 160 and these were the results of my findings: As of the time of this writing, the DYMO 1/2" D-1 label roll is selling for $14 and includes 23 feet (276 inches) of label. As of the time of this writing, the Brother 1/2" P-Touch label roll is selling for $11 and includes 26.2 feet (314 inches) of label. I printed two labels that had this text in 24pt BOLD "TEST-XX-01". The DYMO label that was printed including wasted space on both sides was 2.75" in length which would allow 100 labels to be printed on a $14 roll. *** $0.14 per label. The Brother label that was printed including wasted space on both sides was 4" in length which would allow 78 labels to be printed on the $11 roll. *** $0.14 per label. *** TIE ***. I printed two labels that had this text in 24pt BOLD "255.255.255.255". The DYMO label that was printed including wasted space on both sides was 3.375" (3 3/8") in length which would allow 81 labels on $14 roll. *** $0.17 per label. The Brother label that was printed including wasted space on both sides was 4.5" in length which would allow 69 labels on a $11 roll. *** $0.16 per label. *** BROTHER WINS ***. The DYMO would win with smaller labels, it seems that my first label tested is about the tie breaker in size. Bottom line: If you print SMALL labels, you will get more for your money using a DYMO label printer with less waste per label. If you print larger labels, you will get more for your money using a BROTHER label printer even though it waste more per label. The DYMO generally prints more labels per roll than the brother, even though there is less label per cart, however the Brother label is cheaper at this time."
"It's the perfect size. It prints super clear. It has a button for clip art designs and pictures! It can write multiple lines on a single strip! Just grab this and a 2 pack of 23 foot long rolls and you'll love the thing! The tape cutter is very smooth and comes out from the top instead of the sides like other label makers!"
"I love labeling things and was so happy to receive this label maker."
"This is the only new Dymo labeler I could find that used that same cartridge, so I bought it and it's actually pretty cool! And you print right from the computer!"
"It does the job, and as an added bonus, it's actually easy to peel the backing off. The labeler is fun to use and comes with a rechargeable battery."
"Why did no one mention it requires a power adapter sold separately (mentioned in a blip) or a bunch of AAA batteries?"

Find Best Price at Amazon"I purchased my Accuteck All-in-One Digital Scale in order to help me calculate the cost of postage accurately for the many small parcels I mail out each week. When I opened the box with my new Accuteck digital scale in it, I was immediately surprised by two things: 1.). In the few days I've owned my new Accuteck digital scale, I've used it frequently, and it has already enabled me to save on the cost of postage for items I've mailed. I think this is an essential tool for anyone operating any small online retail business."
"This scale is a great price and successfully gets the job done. Bottom line: this scale accurately weighs packages, great price, and compact."
"I'm really digging this All-in-one scale! The scale has a hold button on the right side of the scale, which basically lets you keep the weight of the item on the screen when weighting those large items that inhibit you from seeing the screen, until you remove that item."
"It automatically zeroed itself every time I turned on the power, but if I want to use it as an accurate kitchen scale I can put protective waxed paper or a container on this scale's platen and then press the 0.0 button to measure only what I put on the paper or in the container without including the extra weight."
"It opens up to hold paper-like items and small envelopes. It also holds decent size boxes when the tray is closed."
"The 50 lb limit means I can build a pretty big beer (if I wanted to,) without maxing out the scale."
"This little scale has changed my life in terms of going to the post office and shipping things."
