Most of the lamps I considered were TaoTronics as they tend to have a very strong following with many positive reviews, not to mention they have been praised as some of the brightest LED desk lamps you can find for under $50.00. A long array with a nice, even light output would provide for a better area of coverage than my previous lamps, which this TaoTronics lamp promised to provide. If you really LOVE READING you should carry THE MOST COMPLETE lamp in your suitcase; it takes care of your eyes, gives you the fastest charge, allows more light levels, includes indicators of battery status and LOW BATTERY ALARM, is the only one with 2 meters long cable and perfectly covers the reading area in your books, magazines, sheets of music and big pages. Find Best Price at Amazon"The USB plug may be a little tight when plugging it into the base of the light the first time and will stop short of plugging in flush with the plastic housing in the base of the light - but that is not a problem, I just want you to be aware of this so you don't try to force it in further than the mating connector is designed for. The plastic lens cover over the LEDs is now a frosted (milky) type which diffuses the light giving it a softer and more even light distribution. In the first photo you will see a close-up of one of the two light "heads" showing the new frosted lens over the LEDs which help diffuse the light much like a frosted light bulb. In the second photo you will see a comparison of the relative light brightness (intensity) between full (highest) brightness in the top "head" and the dimmest (lowest) brightness in the lower "head"."
"If your using this as a night book light, I dont see the need to ever go pass the first setting. Not only does it functions as a book light by clipping it to the back of your book, but it can also work as a travel size desk lamp as the clip works as a stand. I noticed upon first inspection that there appeared to be some oil residue on the inside of the clip on the rubber grips but I brushed it off as just appearing shiny because my instinct was "Now why would they put oil on the part of the light that clips to the book." The next night I used it on a 2nd book but with the light on as I was settling in and noticed a black smear on the underside of my book cover. I panicked and immediately checked my other book, a Selena Quintanilla Bio (my prized possession) and was devastated to see staining on 3 pages throughout the last 2 chapters of the book and on the back cover."

This is obviously a huge part of the equation for a $25.00 product and I assume it will be covered eventually once they provide some actual dollar figures about what I will be charged if I don't return the bad one. I never received anything and tracking shows it was returned to their docks almost a month ago, yet they charge me."

Using this card reader, I was able to plug her Micro SD into my computer, and, with the card still in the reader, ran a data recovery program that rebuilt all her photos that weren't corrupted.
