"PROS: • Easy to Use - Fill it with warm water or water mixed with mouthwash (same amount of mouthwash you'd normally use diluted in the water), choose the intensity and your head attachment, put the wand end in your mouth, make sure the switch on the wand is turned on (I leave mine turned on), turn the power button on, start at a back molar and work your way forward, keeping your head tilted forward and lips puckered so the water pours out into the sink. • Oral Hygiene - The water pushes bacteria and food particles out, effectively doing the same job as flossing and mouthwashing. This doesn't affect me though as I leave it on and just use the power button on the machine to start and stop water flow. TIPS: • Putting a washcloth or grip pad (like what you line cabinets with or what you open the pickle jar with) under the unit to help lower the vibrations. • Once a month do a cleaning rinse: Clean the basin out with vinegar, allowing it to soak for an hour and put the wand tips in with it - this will kill odor causing germs. UPDATE: After over two years it's still performing like new, staying clean inside and out, and my teeth have never been healthier!"

Find Best Price at Amazon"I looked up the owners manual and it clearly states that there is no replacement battery pack available for the toothbrush and that once it stops holding a charge, the whole toothbrush unit must be replaced. So I unsoldered the wires and took the battery pack to Batteries Plus. Shame on Waterpik for using such a low capacity battery in the first place and not making the battery more easily replaceable."
"I put off buying one of these things for so long thinking, "There's NO WAY this actually works like manual flossing does!" My teeth are pretty crowded in my mouth and when food gets stuck in between teeth it can take some effort to get out, but my gums aren't very healthy and I get a lot of cavities even though I brush and floss regularly, plus I'm not a teenager anymore (34 y/o female), so I thought maybe it was finally time to be a grown up and see what all the waterpik fuss is about. I bought this when it went on sale during the holiday prime deals of the day and have been using it for several weeks now and I have to say, I'M A BELIEVER!!!! It ensures that you brush for the full recommended 2 minutes (which I can promise you I wasn't doing before) with a pulse every 30 seconds to let you know when to change locations etc. What I don't love as much: - Takes up a fair bit of real estate on your bathroom sink counter top. I mean, this is probably par for the course with similar products but holy cow, it sounds like firing up a generator and using a small jack hammer all at once! Not ideal for husband and wife who wake up/go to sleep on vastly different schedules. If you're new to water flossing as I was, I STRONGLY recommend that you start on a lower setting your first few times out of the gate until you get used to it. If you don't want this thing going in full fire hose mode turning your bathroom into the splash zone at seaworld, KEEP YOUR LIPS CLOSED around the water pik at all times!! So, I ALWAYS drain the tank when I use it and refill right before use, and I ALWAYS let it run for 2-3 seconds in my sink first to clear the line of any previous standing water before I stick the thing in my mouth to avoid any unpleasant sensations. He turned it on with water in the tank one time...sweet mother of pearl the mess he made... 8) I find that the best combination is to first brush with the sonic toothbrush, then use the water pik, then if I feel like it's needed I do a quick pass with manual floss, then I rinse for a minute with listerine and my mouth feels like new every time! To sum up, this thing has REALLY made a difference in the health and feel of my teeth and gums in just a few weeks. If you've got teeth and gum problems of any kind, I HIGHLY recommend buying this set."
"The instructions say to "just let the water flow freely out of your mouth," but when I try that, some water tends to stream down the handle and onto my hand and then down my arm and often down my leg. There's no better way for getting pieces of a salad, or nuts or other little items that get easily wedged in your mouth. Also, I've gotten better about not spraying the whole bathroom, You do have a pause button on the handle, but you need to press it firmly to suppress the water flow, otherwise, it will leak."

Find Best Price at Amazon"I'm a proud owner of the 5000 series for the last 6 years and wanted to refresh a little bit. The 5000 series has it as well, but the 7000 makes a complete stop for 1-2 seconds and then continues. Paying additional $60 for a travel case is pretty much absurd. The design is nice, but it's weird that the brush itself is white and the handle is black. The blue light, while the brush is charging (flickering), can annoy some people. Anyway, Amazon is lowering the price every couple of days now and playing between $160 and $130. I will keep my 5000 series since it's still working and don't see currently any good alternatives on the market; Sonicare Diamond, for example, has only 31,000 strokes/minute while Oral-B has 40,000 pulsations and 8,800 oscilations (also known as 3D tooth by tooth cleaning)."
"One thing I am 100% sure is I want a Bluetooth teeth brush and it can track my brush time and activities daily, and travel case. I personally don’t need to charge my phone while brushing my teeth, and I don’t think it worth it. I can feel how much brush head rotate stronger compared to my old tooth brush. Once the tooth brush is away from the charging station, it takes less than 5 seconds to connect with your phone. On the app, you can actually see how much time you have been brushing. It also provides brushing tips, weather and news to entertain me while brushing. I think this is a great idea, so that I can forget I am actually brushing teeth and I can brush longer!"

"I never knew my tongue could be so dirty, even after brushing my teeth."

"After the 3rd or 4th time I used the strips there wasn't much of a change n yes my teeth were badly stained. So for myself, using the bottom strip for top teeth n top strip for bottom teeth worked much better (except I didn't try reversing em until I only had 3 strips left)."
"I actually had one person think my teeth were fake because they were so white and a few ask me what I had done & have purchased the same product."
"Worked great."
"Says professional whitening kit as good as dentist/professional whitening."
"I couldn't even leave them on for the entire recommended time because they were really hurting me."
"However, when I opened it inside was a much cheaper knock off whitening strip brand "A plus personal care and beauty" whitening strips."
"I used this religiously each day for the full box (no missed days at all) and noticed no difference whatsoever."

"My least favorite parts are the built-in timers that vibrates the handle every 30 seconds to let you know when to change areas of your mouth and every 2 minutes (dentist recommended time). PROS: - Rechargeable (lasts about 7 days with regular use). - Spins (doesn't just vibrate). - Comes with base (which is also the charger). -Pressure sensitive (prevents gum damage). CONS: - 30 second/2 minute interval timer can be annoying (at least for me). - Long extension cable that cannot be tucked into the base (cosmetic complaint that may be beneficial for some who have far outlets). - Brush heads will be spent fairly quickly due to the spinning action of brush. The pictures I've provided include chapstick and a quarter for scale."
"After years of issues with weak teeth, extractions and fillings I find myself facing more in-depth dental work. When the dentist talked about their glories and the importance of keeping a few of my "key" teeth, I paid a little more attention."
"It occasionally stutters while using or I would have gave it 5 stars, but at this price i can buy a new one every 2 years and not worry about an internal dead battery replacement like the "100$ and up" ones. Get the real Oral B cross action brush replacements if you like them, as the generic ones are not even close."
"I am very happy with my purchase this was a very good price for this electric toothbrush I have had an electric toothbrush before but it broke the battery did not work anymore this is a great replacement it was brand new I am very happy with it my teeth are now clean again."
"I don't know it there is a problem with the device or that is just how it operates."
"Dentist told me that my gumline was receding due to aggressive brushing (a little OCD about cleanliness I guess)."
"The toothbrush is timed for 2 minutes of brushing with pulses every 30 seconds so you know to switch quadrants of your mouth."
