I started using this so late after buying it because I felt three or four small, hard lumps underneath my skin on my cheek: that's how my bad pimples usually start, gathering forces under my skin and then unleashing their cultivated devastation on the surface: my skin. I would wash my face with an oil cleanser before I started, something that was part of my regular routine that had always kept my skin healthy. I have pimples in clusters on my cheeks, my temples, my jawline, pimples that have not come to a head despite this clay's claim of bringing all the gunk to the surface. I have been positive until now, believing that it was the dark before the dawn, brushing off the pimples' existence and imagining my miraculous recovery when the purging period ended and all of my pimples went away, but my skin is getting worse and the first pimples that are fading with time leave brown blemishes. I have no 'Before' pictures because my skin had one or two pimples, nothing more. My pimples, aside from being large and juicy, red and inflamed, have now also begun to flake off bits of skin. Please don't think this product is a malicious one guaranteed to destroy your skin, but if it only worsens your skin even after several weeks, past the acceptable purging period time, then be wary of it. Please, if any of you have suggestions for fixing my skin, tell me, but I will never use this product again."

Although after my second use I woke up the next morning with some small clusters of breakouts across my forehead... I applied my regular acne cream to the mini pimples & went on with me day. I know we're all not English scholars but I would expect a product to at least have correct spelling! "Since it’s such a large amount if you purchase the tub, you don’t want to continue dipping your hands into the product over the 6+months it would take to use up—particularly if you’re prone to breakouts. I have combination skin that is much dryer in the winter, and this isn’t as hydrating as I need during those months. CeraVe AM: Comes in a 3oz (89mL) bottle with a pump dispense (basically the same packaging as the PM lotion). Contains SPF 30 (zinc oxide, octinoxate, octocrylene), hyaluronic acid, and it lacks fragrance. If you're familiar with other "cream" products, this would be similar to a body butter and is the right most lotion on my hand in the comparison. This is the same consistency as the “CeraVe Lotion” which also came in a pump (not pictured as I didn’t repurchase when empty). It also doesn’t leave your skin feeling greasy or filmy afterward. CeraVe PM: This is a nighttime treatment cream I use mainly in the summer months or when my skin acts up in the winter. I can’t see any difference between those two products, though you can tell in the photo this is a more translucent and a slight amount thinner than the SA Lotion. If I am having a few problem areas or I notice my skin looks dull or the backs of my arms are bumpy, I switch over to the SA lotion, typically at night. When I’m going to be in the sun for an extended period of time I use an additional daytime lotion from a different brand that contains sunscreen, as I had a reaction to the one from this line. My skin is dryer in the winter months than summer, so I cycle these products during different times of the year depending on my skincare needs. Cerave Sa Renewing Skin Lotion, 8 Ounce.
