"I don't typically write long reviews for products, but I definitely wanted to take a few minutes to talk about these microfiber cleaning cloths. It's worth taking a few minutes to research how microfiber cloths pick up dirt and bacteria just so you can fully appreciate what these little cloths are doing with nothing but water. Here are some of my favorite uses: - Dusting (use it dry). - Mirrors (wet half of the towel to wipe down the glass and follow up with the dry half to dry). - Electronic screens (use it dry). - Stainless steel (clean with a wet one and follow up with a dry one). - Hardwood floors (mine fits my mop and I use dry ones for dusting and wet ones for mopping). - Soaking up spilled water. - cleaning cabinetry. - washing the car. To keep these cloths cleaning effectively, make sure you are washing them separately (when washed with other clothes they will pick up and hold on to lint which will be a hassle to get off) and in hot water."
"With these particular clothes, they are not overly thick, so they are not an ideal cloth for drying or picking up liquid. When I apply things like Paste Wax, Mothers aluminum cleaner, or other cleaners, I use these clothes for both the application / rubbing of the material, and then use them for the buffing duties to remove the cleaner."
"There are better microfiber towels out there for specialty purposes, but these are great for most things."
"But unfortunately, when I use Windex on my car windows, or on my glass table or mirror, the rag drags so much that it starts to roll in my hand."
"They are not the high quality plush kind like Griot's but they are well suited for car washes and polishing."

Zwipes are constructed with a super-soft plush microfiber design that safely and effectively cleans surfaces with or without chemical detergents. Can be washed (cold water & tumble dry low) and reused hundreds of times, allowing you to save money on paper towels and costly cleaners.

Best Household Dust Mops & Pads

Find Best Price at Amazon"The Reveal allows for longer strokes and the cleaning base is substantially larger than the Swiffer Wet Jet, so you're covering more area by length and width than you would with the SWJ. I was able to mop nearly all of my home (master bedroom, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, living room, play room, front and back mud rooms and laundry room) with one bottle of solution and one cleaning pad. My set came with the mop (no assembly required), two solution bottles and three reusable cleaning pads."
"This is what not to do with your mop: I would soak the mop pad in water, then attach the mop pad to the mop when it’s close to dripping wet. Then, I would attach a dry mop pad onto the mop or sometimes spray a few times on the mop pad with a spray bottle filled with clean water before I actually start mopping. I would get change to a clean dry mop pad to continue mopping. I would toss all the dirty mop pads in a small bucket of water and brush the dirt off them when I get done with mopping. Mopping the floor this way, uses up a lot of mop pads. I’ve had to use 9 mop pads to mop all three floors in my house every day because I had to change them so frequently. I noticed many cleaning agents will deteriorate the Velcro on the back of the mop pad, therefore weaken its ability to attach to the mop. I noticed a huge difference in mop pad’s velcro’s ability to attach to the mop. The red mop pads are very worn out already, they can barely attach to the mop anymore; but the blue, and green mop pads can still attach to the mop almost like new."
"The RUBBERMAID REVEAL spray mop is similar in design to the popular Swiffer mop, combining a swivel mop head, replaceable pads, and a dispenser for cleaning solution. I've owned a Swiffer mop for several years, and I've found that it works best for touch-ups (since I'm not convinced the little paper pads really do much more than wet the surface). My first impression of the REVEAL was that it offers a much larger cleaning surface (see the photo comparing the Swiffer paper pad with the REVEAL pad). I found that the "Velcro-like" strips are much more efficient in keeping the pads attached to the mop head than the Swiffer system is - and the microfiber pads are much more durable, and clean much better than the paper pads used with Swiffer. They can also be stored separate from the mop - one of the problems with the Swiffer is that the cleaning solution remains attached to the mop after cleaning, meaning the liquid is in constant contact with the mechanism (this has caused problems with the Swiffer batteries)."
