Best Electric Coffee Blade Grinders

Epica Electric Coffee Grinder & Spice Grinder -Stainless Steel Blades and Removable Grinding Cup for Easy Pouring- Strongest Motor on the Market For Fastest and Most Efficient Grinding
Most coffee grinders are all one piece, requiring you to deal with extra weight, bulk and a dangling electrical cord when transferring the powder to your coffeemaker. The Epica Coffee Grinder eliminates that nuisance with a separate grinding cup that detaches with a simple twist. Instead, you can see when the powder is to your satisfaction and stop the grinding at that exact moment, simply by releasing the activation button. The lid's inner ring fits tightly into the grinding cup, keeping the powder completely contained. GET THE MOST POWERFUL GRINDER ON AMAZON: Don't let wimpy mixers leave you with half-cut beans or spices that trap the flavour inside. This industrial-strength grinder combines ease-of-use and the strongest motor in the market to uniformly grind beans and spices quick, so you can enjoy their full warmth and allure. The Epica's sleek, compact home design stays still during use and dampens its whirring to a pleasant, peaceful pitch. "My second attempt was much better; third and beyond, perfect. You can really get a great grind out of this grinder and exactly where you want it."
"The box states it is 200 watts."
"Won't work for me as I use my grinder regularly almost on a daily basis, so don't want this thing to quit on me after couple months use."
"This is the first Amazon review I have ever written, but I am so frustrated with the poor quality of this product that I decided it was necessary to weigh in for future customers considering this purchase. I returned it for a replacement (they indicated that the shipping cost was my responsibility), which was ridiculous, because the least expensive USPS option was over $16.00 ($5.00 less than the price of the unit itself!)."
"I used this one time and the blade twisted loose from the gear within the cup."
"I bought it based on the "good reviews.""
"The cup wouldn't lock in place, so within a few seconds it was loose and not effectively grinding."
"One problem was the top which would spill grinds everywhere when you removed it."

"I finally figured out to fill the LID with the beans, flop the whole dang thing over and then put it right side up and it can grind the beans that way."
"BEWARE: I purchased the burr grinder model based on the high rating here, but only noticed after that 90% of the positive reviews were for the blade grinder instead. Here, there is enough difference (I'd hope) between the blade and the burr grinder that I feel mislead by a unified rating for both products."
"This grinder advertises that it can do everything from coarse to fine grind, but it seems that whatever setting is used produces an inconsistent grind consisting of some powdery grounds and the rest super coarse...so coarse that we aren't getting proper extraction and have watery tasting coffee. As for the reviews on Amazon, it seemed to have great reviews, but on further inspection, I realized that all the reviews are actually for completely different grinder."
"This is an inferior version of a Krups grinder even though it says "KRUPS"."
"The Krups is an under-powered and small capacity blade grinder which seemed to be straining to grind just a small amount of coffee beans, while the Ariete -Delonghi has a powerful motor and metal burr grinders that purr through the grinding process without any trouble, allowing incremental adjustments to the grind, so that you can get fine or coarse, depending on your specific needs. It works but it does not evenly grind the coffee beans and we had to put them through the grinder twice to get the desired fine grind."
"this is supposed to be a precision burr grinder, and with 48 discrete "clicks" on the grind selector, labeled from 1-9 with half marks, all it really does is make a variation of drip coffee grind. you'll do better with a basic blade grinder. also, makes a freakin mess every time you go to dump the grinds, the plastic container is a static generator, and grinds go all over the counter."

"I am so glad I purchased this unit. Background: I just got a cold brew system (Love, love, love it, here it is if you think you might love smooth, lower-acid cold brew, too:OXO Good Grips Cold Brew Coffee Maker and I needed a grinder since none of my local shops - unless I went to Starbucks exclusively - had one in-store, I had to get one for myself. I can use this little guy to make it *just so* and that's awesome! I feel like hand washing when you can - especially when things don't get really dirty - is the way to go to keep things nice longer. Especially plastic which could get brittle over time from Dishwasher heat settings. Then I've wiped out the interior (and the exterior of the main unit) with a hot, wet cloth, or a disinfecting wipe periodically. Highly suggest you give this baby a try if you need your own grinder, and especially if you are looking into cold brewing! :-). Hope this review helps, but if you have comments, questions or suggestions - leave a comment!"
"One review complained about coffee getting stuck under the blade, and while coffee can get stuck if you over grind by grinding too long or put in too many beans (I usually grind about half a cup of beans at a time), I quickly found that I only had to grind for 10 seconds to get the grind I needed."
"I then realized the problem was that a large piece of plastic was preventing the cup from being removed. It was part of the bottom of the cup that interlocks into the motor unit, to hold it in place while grinding. The plastic at the bottom that interlocks to the motor shaft has a thin area, and that's where it broke. The plastic itself is quite brittle and reminds me of the older appliances that used Bakelite parts, although I'm sure that's not what it's made of. KitchenAid could diffuse the whole problem by simply offering this part on their website for a reasonable price. KitchenAid has been a trademark for tough reliable products for years, so we purchased the grinder with that in mind."

"This was a store return item that I got from Amazon Warehouse Deals. I really like that there are no arrows to line up or caps to fit in a certain way."
"It's been a few years since I had a grinder, but with the insane cost of coffee from retail drive-through, I'm back to being a fan of making my own."

"Over Thanksgiving vacation, I had company staying and the grinder couldn't handle all those people (four) grinding their coffee in the morning."

Reviews
"Pros: -Works great for the Aeropress using a somewhat "fine" course setting with the conical burr just about touching the inside burrs. -While it does take a full 1-2 minutes to grind an Aeropress scoop worth of beans, it requires very minimal effort. -Built-in window is a nice add-on. -Relatively easy to clean. -Oddly enough, it fits perfectly into the hollow part of the Aeropress plunger for easy transportation. Cons: -This product is basically the same design as all the other hand grinders available on Amazon, with the same inherent design flaws. -As with all hand grinders, the grind you get for your coffee is never 100% consistent. -Plastic piece that sits inside the conical burr is very prone to breakage *****SEE BELOW*****. Okay, now for the important part! After contacting JavaPresse about my broken burr using their website, I received an email back from them in literally ten to fifteen minutes asking for my address to send me a whole replacement grinder."
"I am not a coffee expert, but I do enjoy my lattes (made at home on an espresso machine). I couldn't really find an electric one that "spoke" to me, so thought I'd give a manual one a try (primarily because it was quite a bit cheaper and I only have 1 latte a day so don't need anything to process for a crowd). The difference between the scream of the blade grinder and the soothing crunch of the JavaPresse is remarkable and QUITE enjoyable! It did not take a great deal of time or strength (I will admit that I put a rubber jar opener on the counter and placed the JavaPresse on that as I ground. - Another surprising benefit of the JavaPresse was that I didn't have to spoon the grounds out of a staticy grinder, into the portafilter (that makes a fair mess on occasion). I didn't notice a huge difference (I always bought in small quantities for freshness), but after using the manual JavaPresse, I now understand what the coffee "snobs" are talking about!"
"I use a high quality organic coffee bean... purified water... brew at around 190 degrees. Got nothing for this review... want nothing.. except good coffee. EXCELLENT coffee.... easy to use... very easy to grind. It works as good as the first day."
"Throw that handle away and get out to the toolshed. The Miluakee 8 amp Magnum serves me well in the mornin'."
