I couldn't believe that the bearings could be bad already so I cleaned it, oiled it, and even punched it a few times over the winter but it just got worse. It's $140 to replace which irks me after one winter but the sound was so bad that we started using the stove without the blower on because of the noise. For the price I don't think you can beat this stove as a basic small house heater that won't smoke out you or your neighbors (EPA certified)."
