Find Best Price at Amazon"I was weary of both the 5 star reviews and the price of this little guy, but I thought I would go ahead and take the chance and order it anyway. That said, the process of moving junk in and opening packages etc obviously put some wear into the otherwise clean carpet. From the time Amazon rang the doorbell to when the vacuum began it's work, I estimate it took a total of 10 minutes, if even, to begin the process. I moved everything out of the way (I mean coffee tables etc) because I wanted to really watch the thing do it's business. It goes in random straight lines, then when it bumps into something, turns at about a 30 degree angle and starts to go. It looks pretty sporadic as it goes, but I watched as it went over certain pieces of debris on the floor--and they went missing after. Incredibly small, galley kitchen, with tile and an area rug. It was unable to get up on top of the area rug, but I expected that and had no problem moving it. I have a high rise bed, a dresser, and a nightstand, and I left the door to my closet open as well. The carpet was spotless, and I could see where the vacuum had easily made it under my bed with no issues. I could be in the same room and listen to TV just fine, but I would have a hard time talking on the phone with the noise it makes. -- going from carpet to tile is no problem, but the vacuum has a hard time going the opposite way."

UPDATE 2: I didn't need to wait a few weeks. They said that they will be correcting the problem with the design of the vacuum roller brush and expect to have the new design available in about a month. I just received it yesterday (June 2017) so will update in a few weeks as to whether the changes solved the problem. UPDATE 4 (FINAL): The updated model was not able to hold up to pet fur after all (we have a couple large dogs, including a Newfoundland mix). The 3rd photo shows the result of that hair accumulating in that area - it finally caused the piece that receives the roller brush to break off."
