It is OEM, 9 inches, and fits my 6-qt DUO 60 7-in-1 Instant Pot like a dream. I am notorious for overstuffing my crockpots and I can't tell you how excited I was to see that the lid is also CONVEX, which I don't think any other reviewers mentioned. The convex curve allows for some extra space and breathing room for your food, which is amazing!! It is so much better to use when the Instant Pot is in slowcooker mode than the heavy OG lid and there's no need to stink up a gasket with Pulled Pork or Garlic Beef Stroganoff. Another great aspect is that you can just pop it on any time you have leftovers in the IP and chuck the whole bowl in the fridge."

I don't know where that claim is coming from, but I doubt that this would survive a trip through the dishwasher and would tell you to ONLY HAND WASH the paddle and pan. Before you bake bread in this machine, be sure to run it for an hour with a cup of water in the pan and the lid open. If you intend to bake a loaf immediately after the initial burn off, unplug the machine as soon as your preliminary cleaning out hour is up to allow it all to cool down. Otherwise, you will receive an HHH code designating that the machine has overheated and it won't work until after the cord has been unplugged for a while. As for the gluten free recipes, I have to stress the importance of maintaining a no flour environment or you risk contamination and if you are a sufferer of celiac disease, you may not be happy the next day."

So, let me share a few things that any person attempting to use this attachment needs to know: 1) Do not roll the dough any thinner than a 3 on your kitchenAid Pasta Roller - This attachment stretches the dough as it pulls it through and if you go any thinner, your dough will certainly tear. If it has a hard time making it through your KitchenAid Pasta Roller, it will be impossible to make it through this attachment. If it is too dry, it will crack and break using this attachment, You need to make certain that the dough easily goes through the Pasta Roller Attachment. I tried many of them and what I found worked best for me was prepare the dough with the pasta roller, remove the pasta roller and mount this attachment, use the freshly prepared dough (put a little flour on both sides before use) to make a batch of ravioli. 5) Don't assume that your dough will feed through this attachment, even though it has rollers on both sides, save yourself a lot of frustration and manually push the dough in on both sides before you turn the handle."

"The rollers stopped rolling, so I called Kitchen Aid who explained that they do not service these attachments and the warranty had expired (a warranty of merely one year for a piece of equipment made from several pounds of steel is frankly a bit suspicious). While I know this to be an issue with cheap appliances and electronics of all varieties, I did not expect it to be an issue with Kitchen Aid, nor did I expect it in a one hundred dollar accessory made from several pounds of steel, brass, and aluminum. And, in fact, inside the unit there seems to really be only ONE PIECE MADE OF PLASTIC--pretty much the one piece that you don't want made from plastic. Most Kitchen Aid products are built in a factory in Ohio, but this product is built in Italy. While some may consider that aspect of the product's manufacture to be an encouraging even marketable factor, it would actually seem to be the crux of the issue, for it must be why this product (made almost completely of stainless steel, aluminum, and brass) cannot be serviced and why they don't sell replacement parts. The issue that I have is that if Kitchen Aid is not going to service the products or offer replacement parts, then selling a product with such a weak connection (which I argue is an INTENTIONAL POINT OF FAILURE) is downright unethical."

You cannot use just any bottle to carbonate because the mouth of the bottle is designed specifically for the SodaStream. Prior to SodaStream, when I was drinking from seltzer water cans, I would often leave "squirrels" (half empty cans) around the house. But with the SodaStream bottles, I cap them when I'm done drinking and they keep their fizz. The initial SodaStream canister is expensive (about $25-$30), but once you have the canister, you own it and just need to refill which only costs about $12 or $13 for 60 liters of carbonated water."
