Find Best Price at Amazon"I bought this product, because I have a really old table saw and it just has hash marks on the side to tell you your angle. The table was close, but I would have cut incorrect angles if I used those marks to set my angle. They recommend setting the blade to 90deg off of the table saw, then putting it on the blade and zeroing it out again. By leaving it zeroed to the table, I could put the device on the blade, adjust it, then let it find it's center of balance, check that the table was still at zero(taring it if not) then returning it to the blade to make sure it was still 75deg, which is what I was shooting for."
"I measured it against a digital angle finder ruler by balancing it on the edge of one of the thin steel rulers (this is a feat in itself--that the magnet held this device in place on such a thin piece of metal, even while adjusting the angle to almost 90 degrees)."
"However, when you turn it 180 degrees and use it in that position it becomes very difficult if not impossible to read the screen."
"I used this to set the angles of my driveshaft."
"I'm luckily getting older and don't see as well as I used to, and always set my say blade by eye with a square."
"- I was able to set up my saws and stuff much more accurately than with a T-square or angle square."
"I bought it due to the great reviews I had seen in forums and at amazon and I'm happy I finally went ahead and got one."
"This gauge is small and easily stored when not in use and fits my needs exactly."

Find Best Price at Amazon"I had already looked for the instructions on this tool by examining the display card and thumbing it to see if it would open. Gluing a small piece of anything to the back would make it infinitely easier to open. So my comments and my rating don't cover the most important aspect -- whether it truly does accurately measure angles. In this case, I am going the Blanche Deveroux route and depending on the kindness of strangers. But it is easy to use, very solid, and it said my tools were set up very close to perfect, but it did indicate that one of my blades was a tiny bit warped."
"Perhaps the most useful feature for me is checking the angle of saw blades- you just set the level on the table, "zero" it, then use the magnet to attach to the saw blade."
"I make a habit of using this frequently for checking fence perpendicularity to the bed on the joiner, to check the angle of the saw blades relative to the tables on band saws, table saws and chop saws, and also drills relative to the table on the drill presses."
"It was a remodel where the fascia nailed square to the rafter tails on a house with many inside and outside miters and where the runs rarely met at a true 90*. The biggest challenge is to re-create the angles we found to be correct on the sliding compound miter-saw; very small variations in the angle and bevel setting have a very big impact on the fit of the cuts."
"I've fooled around with angle gauges and done trigonometry for years, always being "off" a bit on cuts and measurements."
"It is also ideal for setting saw blade angle (radial, table or miter saws), and can be used to set bandsaw or jigsaw table angle, It speeds up the setting easily."
"This digital angle gauge is as accurate as any other manual gauge of mine that I put it up against!"

Find Best Price at Amazon"After I read some of the negative reviews, I was worried I might have made a mistake buying the digital calipers. Ill be able to now measure the hole and part sizes on my 3D prints without having to eye ball them on the manual scale calipers I used before. Be sure you are hitting the off button when you are done measuring rather than waiting for it to do so automatically and youll save battery life."
"I have no way to confirm long distance measurement accuracy with NIST-type standards (I can only correlate self-measured distances with what the stated distances are of the pieces I am measuring by the companies producing the pieces), but I like the fact that when the calipers are closed-up, a zero-ing function is available to zero-calibrate the calipers."
"It's not going to hold up to the rough service we gave our maintenance instruments but for non professional work these are a good bargain. I suspect repeatability could be an issue after long term every day use but have no proof of this; just my experience using calipers."
"But for projects I'll be designing and printing with my 3d printer, this is the best option."
"i use it to try to get exact measurements on like, 3d printed calibration shapes and some other bits and pieces i want to measure."
"(Video Size and Quality was reduced to meet Amazons limits, Watch the full video on my YouTube GadgetClass channel). The Neiko seems to get decent reviews, probably mainly because it is the cheapest one and soo many more people have bought it, but compared to all of the other calipers in the roundup it actually scored low across the entire data set. "They lay in your toolbox, ignored, until the valves start tapping, or the points need adjustment."
"Not all of the feeler gauges vary, most are true, from my random sampling i'd say more than 80% are true to the number printed on them, and none of them seem to exceed the printed number, definitely a plus."
