The 36" version consists of a standard 36" head that has two holes in which you would screw a traditional broom handle. The idea being you take the supplied welded head, line it up with the pencil lines, and screw through the holes to hold it all in place."

Best Indoor Push Brooms

Patented design makes cleaning up pet hair easy and fast.
Reviews
Find Best Price at Amazon"We were tired of hair everywhere and somehow I realized that dragging my shoe across the carpet balled the hair up. The backside is more like a squeegee and helps pull the hair up in long rolls and keeps the hair in one big pile."
"I also was very afraid to buy a whole new vacuum and spend hundreds of dollars on something that might just clog up and break when faced with all the hair we had here. I chose this broom because it is marketed specifically as a fur remover and because of the positive reviews describing it, so I'm here to add one more. I was very, very skeptical that the solution to my pet hair problem was something as ludicrous as squeegeeing my carpet, but the results are undeniable. If you are not fully able-bodied, or just aren't looking to work that hard to save the money, a powerful vacuum cleaner may still be your wisest choice. Personally, I plan to purchase a small 20 dollar shop-vac as a companion to this broom, especially because right now I have to just pick up the wads of hair with my hands. This should highlight the improvement in hair (And even some other debris) removal, as well as how the bristles where able to easily fluff back up a section of carpet that had been pressed down over many months by a heavy metal power strip."
"I own a boarding kennel and this is the only broom I use."
"Pros: extends to a little over 5ft, retracts to about 3ft, length of brush is easy to control(not too long), has two sides (brush for carpet, squeegee side for flat surfaces), worth $18. Cons: needs elbow grease ;), brush head occasionally needs to be tightened (depends on how I use it)."
"The best part... You don't have to clean the bristles like a regular broom. I just rinsed the broom when I was done and the little dirt that was on the bristles washed away!"
"Not gonna lie, bought this after reading a Buzzfeed post."
"(My Ted sheds like crazy). Bonus: I got enough Teddy hairs off of the rug to make 2 Donald Trump toupees!"
"It's kinda gross how much hair it was able to get up, but obviously that was my fault, and this broom helped a sister out!"

"It's hard to find a good quality, standard heavy duty broom with broom straw and a heavy wood handle."
"This is a nice well made broom."
"Pros: -Big. -Sturdy. -Well-built. -Stiff bristles. Cons: -May not be the best for sweeping hair and dust (get a broom with softer bristles for this)."
"I was only going to use it the kitchen and bathroom but the carpets in the living and bedroom are pretty threadbare so I decided to try it outon the living room floor, to my surprise, the broom worked better than my vaccuum!"
"This broom is a heavy duty work horse that will stand up to serious use for many years."
"I'm old school in a lot of ways (refuse to have/use a blower on my deck, porch, and walkways because that's just lazy) and love that this is the type of broom I grew up with and remember (versus a lot of the plastic junk I see now)."
"Gave this as a gift, and its worked better then the prior broom (Amish style) we had which cost $25 at the hardware store."

Find Best Price at Amazon"How can a dust pan be so non-functional?"
"It doesn't really sweep up dirt all that well, and it's hard to get the small particles of dirt into the dust pan, as they remain on the floor."
"As long as my hair is clipped up, it is a great little broom."
"The broom is great... the shovel doesn't do the job."
"The rubber on the dust pan could be a little longer."
"Great bristles and quality."
"The dustpan does not catch all dust - when swept into the pan, there is still some that goes under the strip."
"Dust pan is badly designed. When you try to push it against the floor to make a tight seal against the ground, the lip bends upward away from the floor."
