"Because of the larger size bags (and more trash in the bags) they can be a pain to remove from the can. Even though there is twice as much trash in this trash can it smells better than our old trash can did, which I think is in large part due to this awesome lid. The only con I have found with the lid is that sometimes when you walk by too close to the trash can it sees you and the lid opens unnecessarily."
