While I will admit, it is hard to find an accurate, small spirit level that you can attach to your drill to affirm you are vertical, even if you could find one, there is no flat surface wider than an inch or so to attach it to and all the spirit levels I have seen on Amazon (excepting the round ones) are 3-4 inches long."

Find Best Price at Amazon"I guess it's because after reading all the other reviews prior to buying, I'm somewhat conflicted since mostly, people either seem to love or hate this drill and I'd like to get my two cents worth in. After reading about a bazillion reviews (small exaggeration) I didn't know what to think and, I thought perhaps I could help my fellow Amazonians (is that a word?). While I am not an expert, I do build and sell hardwood furniture and am familiar with most of the tools that you would find in a working woodshop. Since Amazon has return priviliges I figured I could examine the product thoroughly upon receipt and decide for myself if it was a good buy. With its bright colors and swirly lines it looks like something Roger Rabbit would use (or, if you're in my generation; Bullwinkle). If you hear a clicking sound when tightening the chuck around a bit, then you need to adjust the ring so the screw icon is on top. Frequently, when hand-tightening the chuck, it will escape your grip (after all, we're not as strong as gorillas) and spin, burning your hand. With gloves protecting your hands, if it slips, you don't get burned and you're capable of tightening your grip and getting maximum holding power between the chuck/bit. Upon unboxing this drill at a friends house his wife thought it looked "cute" and felt it would be a good addition to their kit (they frequently go to numerous flea markets throughout Texas and carry basic tools with them). Also, even though I was wearing leather gloves, I could feel a lot of heat at the barrel (after all, these tests were done with no interruptions) and it was apparent to me that to continue, I would probably smoke the motor, which made no sense to me. Especially using a large diameter bit like the 1 3/8" comes very close to the definition of abusing your tools so, if you can avoid it, I suggest not subjecting your drill to loads such as this.. I also think that because of it's reduced weight it would be an ideal drill for a woman and I think the manufacturers did a good job of "splitting the difference" in designing a grip that is both large enough for a big man (though just barely) and small enough to be comfortable for the average woman. Caveat: As I told you earlier, one of the reasons I got this drill was because of all the contradictory reviews (it piqued my curiousity)."

Now for the really important information that I wanted to pass on to users of this iron: I was so used to using my medium size tip in this heat range that when it finally burned out and I replaced it with a fine point, I just turned the iron on and waited for it to heat up so I could tin the tip and start using it. I thought I had a bad tip BUT here's the kicker: heat level 3 was too high for the fine tip, so it immediately overheated and oxidized. Operating in the low power range, it takes a while for the tip to come up to temp, and to recover its temperature after soldering a few joints. If time isn't money and you are prepared to closely monitor what's going on at the tip, there's no reason why you can't make perfect solder joints with this iron. For at least the ten years I've had this iron, I have kept all solder waste and soldered wire clippings in a flip-top container."

"I was impressed upon opening it as the main filter housing unit seemed very high quality and heavy. You can push the lever down and hold it if you just need to fill a glass or you can flip it up until it locks and and it will continually dispense until you turn it off. Some of these faucets require a 1 1/2" hole, and that would concern me because I have a synthetic granite/composite sink that it tough as nails to drill into. TIP: Once you locate where you want the faucet mounted, get a thin piece of wood (such as a shim) and drill a 1/2" hole in it. In my case, it took me a good ten minutes to drill through my sink (probably a 1/4" thickness) and the bit was completely useless once I got through the surface. Once the hole is drilled to your liking, follow the illustration for assembling the hardware for the faucet and mount it. I have a 2200 square foot ranch that was built in the eighties with that nasty, defective polybutelene plumbing and, after a ruined master bath and another close call in the kitchen after owning the house for just 6 months, I had my plumber completely re-pipe to the tune of 5K. If you decide to do this, the only one you won't be able to use one on is the yellow line that goes from the RO unit to the tank (because it has a crimped-on special two-way valve). One word of caution though- if you do this be very careful and mindful that you are screwing a metal compression connector onto plastic threads on the unit. My advice, in hindsight, is to determine where you're going to want the unit and place it there prior to beginning the install. It took me longer than it probably would have taken most people, but I have a unique kitchen sink with funky plumbing (couldn't use 1/2" adapter included to feed system from faucet bottom, instead had to convert down to 3/8" and run from cold water valve)."

I'm using a Watts Premier 560087 as the 5th stage filter (last is the carbon filter) in our APEC ROES-50. Never had acid reflux before with our inline filtered water used to brew coffee. P.S - I know APEC makes a remineralizing/pH filter, but the Watts filter contains additional minerals such as magnesium and potassium, whereas the APEC filter is just calcium. It installs in between the tank and the tee, vs the 1-way "final filter" of the APEC (probably why it doesn't raise the pH that much - water passes through it too quickly). Third, the connection of the power cable and the data cable is quite uncomfortable, the manufacturer repeated the same design error that other label printers have in that sense (as in the case of Zebra that I have used)."

I saw a review combined with a low price alert on one of the many gadget blogs I read and I accidentally bought this thing... I'm pretty sure the algorithm for moving around objects in the other robot vacs was better, but the algorithms don't mean much when the gadget can't effectively do its main purpose."
"We have owned several roomba early models over the years, and we have been mostly underwhelmed with overall suction, noise, and pickup power for the $300~$500 range robot vacuums. Skeptical but curious, we picked this "little RoboVac that could" on a whim, without expecting much given its' very reasonable price. This overgrown hockey puck eats more socks and stray underwear than our dogs! The suction on this compact little dust demon is so strong that the exhaust port on its side, makes our curtains billow from 5 feet away, while on MAX mode. In standard cleaning mode, our Euphy runs well over two hours on a single charge. Full disclosure, I sadistically tucked away the charging station three rooms away. This little dust, dirt, dog-hair, underwear, sock, phone charging cable gobbling little robot vacuum."
"The Eufy has only finished one vacuum cycle, so I clearly can't speak to longevity, but just some general early observations for anyone considering this brand new model. It picked up a lot of cat hair that the Roomba wouldn't have, and the floors look just as good as they do when we do a full vacuuming. The one issue I did find with this was that for things like chairs with dust ruffles, the Roomba would have gone right through the dust ruffle to clean under the chair, but the Eufy views it as a solid vertical surface and turns around to go somewhere else. Overall we're very happy with it so far, and my mind is blown that in three years, Anker managed to make a vacuum so much better than our old Roomba at around half the price."
