This nonsterile Corning 384-well low volume solid black polystyrene microplate has a round well design with a solid black flat bottom and a 2.8mm distance between well bottoms to plate bottom. Outer wells aligned for proper viewing with FLIPR. It is ideal for miniaturized 384 well fluorescent homogeneous assays. Suitable primarily for the immobilization of large molecules, such as antibodies, that have large hydrophobic regions that can interact with the surface (binding capacity of approximately 100 to 200ng IgG/sq cm).

This Corning 96-well half area solid black polystyrene microplate has flat bottom wells with a 190µL total well volume and a recommended working volume of 25 to 125µL. Not treated (or medium binding) polystyrene surface is hydrophobic in nature and binds biomolecules through passive interactions; binding capacity of 100 to 200ng IgG/sq cm. This Corning Stripwellmicroplate is designed for in vitro diagnostic assays. The flat bottomed microplate is designed to easily break apart into strips and is pre-assembled in an 'egg-crate' style strip holder that allows each individual well to be postioned back into the plate once broken. High binding surface binds medium (greater than 10kD) and large biomolecules that possess ionic groups and/or hydrophobic regions. Surface Treatment: High Bind.
