After more time than I care to admit looking for an answer, I pasted together the fix below that is not ideal but works for me as I am not shipping everyday. From the USPS Website choose PDF instead of Print Label. Choose the DYMO LabelWriter 4XL from your printer options and print. This takes about a half dozen clicks to get the job done, but it beats the old paper, print, scissor and tape method I was using for so long."

"Account setup a PITA, activation email arrives stating all OK, then when logging in message "This account is inactive, call tech support to resolve". BUT BUT BUT my initial call was at midnight, so less than 24h later problem solved. Guess what, to tear off the label you have to pull down, and guess what, yes you are right the little button is über-sensitive so THERE GOES A WASTED SECOND STAMP as you try to pull the printout. Now for countermeasures i cut a half inch adhesive felt pad in two, and attached a half over the top of the "hook" , so now my finger slides over the trick button without activating it."
