"Although this unit, a Drive Medical Steel Rollator is a bit heavier than its aluminum counterparts--the benefits of increased strength and more importantly--stability--in my opinion, more than make up for the weight factor."
"While not exceptionally easy to transport, it does fold up easily without the basket, and I can lift it into the back of our car with minimal effort."
"half of the spokes on one of the tires were broken."
"I was SO ecstatic at how marvelous it was in helping me move around that I immediately ordered a second one just like it to keep in the car (since it IS a bit tiresome to take up and down stairs whenever we go anywhere in the car--at LEAST a couple times a day, often more). But in my situation, living one flight above street level with the garage at street level and 2 half flights of stairs and doors to negotiate through to get from living quarters to car and again from car to living space, this model's weight and its wire basket beneath its seat became burdensome. AND the rectangular wire basket under the seat, roughly the size of a shoe box, is almost always a minor problem to take out &/or put back in place. We keep the aluminum model in a car trunk and the non-aluminum model upstairs in the living area."
"This is priced right and I love it."
"So if you need one, you need one, get this one, it rolls nice and smooth and the brakes are a great feature."
"This works great when I really need it."

Find Best Price at Amazon"I purchased the KneeRover because my doctor informed me that I could be using a scooter for many more months, and the cost of a new knee scooter is about the same price as a 2 month rental in my area. Put this all together with how hard it is to turn around, and small jobs moving things from one place to another like setting a table can be very challenging. Height – I purchased the KneeRover because the knee pad goes to 1” higher than in the DV8. In fact, if the person using the scooter is not relatively healthy, the lack of effective brakes could be a major problem. !, smaller turning radius, knee pad not as comfortable, handle folding mechanism hard to engage. But even with this, if I needed to turn around, I found I was just as likely to put my healthy foot down and lift the front of the scooter to turn and pivot. Width of handles and depth of pad and handles – The handles on the DV8 are more widely spaced and there is an inch or two of more room between the handles and the knee pad, which felt more comfortable to me. Hopefully someone will manufacture a scooter in the future with KneeRover’s height, disc brakes, and basket and DV8’s wider wheel base, knee pad, folding mechanism, and wider and deeper handles."
"I ordered this and the first day's experience with it was as diametrically opposite of the crutching situation as I could imagine possible. With small flicks of my good foot, I was moving QUICKLY over long distances. My coworkers took to calling me Speed Racer, in reference to that cartoon with the Mach 5 race car. It felt like the little kid inside was breathing highly oxygenated air. The optics of a dude in a suit racing around the cube farm, mischievously grinning ear-to-ear, probably would have left the security guards hysterical with laughter. Picking up a few items for lunch and bringing them back to the desk was returned to being brain-dead easy. If you are going to ride over uneven surfaces (such as city sidewalks), you need to move your knee to the back of the pad and you need to lean back as well, so that you are unloading weight from the front wheels. If you are putting too much weight on the front wheels, and you hit a bump, things can get really ugly. The first couple of days will be a little slow because you are not used to bearing weight on the knee. I set my seat slightly lower than standing height, so that my weight would naturally transfer from one leg to the other, almost like walking."
"This scooter is the best mobility device for foot/ankle injuries. My husband went from no mobility and exhausting hopping around on a walker, to being able to get around really well in a safe manner."
"This product has been truly a lifesaver for me in my recent foot surgery."
"Scooter works well."

Find Best Price at Amazon"The walker is folded flat, out of the box, and the front wheels and back leg extensions are separated into plastic bags. Putting the legs on this Drive Medical walker was much easier than I thought. You just slide on the front legs (with wheels), and back legs, onto the existing walker legs. And you can adjust this walkers height by aligning the holes in the leg extensions with the locking button on each of the existing walker legs. BUT, here’s a very helpful solution I really want to share because I think it can help a lot of people: when I was reading reviews of different walkers, I found a great tip on [...] that showed me how to reduce the width of my walker by just switching the wheels! I’m going to try this walker for a while, and if the neuropathy in my fingers flares up, I can just get inexpensive, even more cushy walker handgrips covers to help. I guess, the only thing that I think could be improved would be to clearly mark the legs with wheels to show that they should be put on the front of the walker."
"The only challenge was when I bought skis and tennis balls to put on the bottom after seeing it recommended on Amazon to buy this together. Especially since I bought the recommended Drive products to go with this."
"Seriously much cheaper than all of the local places I looked, and it is the exact product."
"One trick I saw from watching the company's online videos was to change the wheels to the inside of the legs so it gives more room for narrow spaces."
"Lightweight, easy to maneuver and very easy to fold up and take on the go."
"This product is awesome dad used it after his stroke at a rehabilitation and all the therapist loved it!!"
"It is horrible to think that the medical device you purchase to make your life safer is the very thing that causes an injury."
"One side of this walker will definitely not fold."
