The heavy duty powder coated black metal hook will support strength and/or additional length is required for storing items. Stabilizer clips secure the hook in the slatwall system when hanging and removing items.

"The chrome colored bracket is what you can buy at home depot, but they cost over $5 a piece. For every 3 home depot home depot brackets, you can buy 12 econoco brackets. At first I used 3 home depot bracket per 8 foot board, but now I use 4 econoco brackets and find that it is far more stable. In sum: The econoco brackets can be bent from side to side quite easily, but I find that they still perform well because that isn't where the bracket needs to have strength."

Proslat 15-in x 11-in heavy duty wire baskets are rugged and great for holding balls, toys, sports gear, paint cans and just about anything else you want to throw at them. "I purchased light gray which is a benefit over Home Depot and Lowes which requires painting if you do not want a neutral color. Also if you are creating a wall taller than 4' there is no need to cut the vertical trims."
"I think this product is fantastic, as long as you're hanging tools, rakes, shovels, etc. I installed the product using a stud finder, and an impact driver. I followed the advice from woot to get different screws to replace the brittle ones they send in the package. The ladder wanted to pull away the slat from the wall a couple inches, until I got it to sit perfectly where it would only apply downward pressure. I came home to see the bikes pulling away a bit more than usual, and I had planned to have dinner, and then shoot some photos to send over to Proslat. They scheduled a video conference with me to look at the installation, and they thought I missed "a stud". Anyway, they never showed for the video conference, and then just stopped replying to my inquiries."
