Find Best Price at Amazon"This cutter is not exactly the profile of the story bought window stools, but close enough, provided you don't cut into the leading edge of the store bought stool."
"I was confused because aligning a straight edge against the cutting edges under a certain angle gives the impression that the teeth edges are not parallel and might slant inward, which might be desirable for flooring parquet where you need a really tight fit, but in fact, careful alignment of the straight edge clears that false impression: the teeth are perfectly aligned vertically, although they do have each a slight slant forward and backward (what Freud describes as "Freud's exclusive design features a tongue cutter with opposing shear angles to ensure a flawless finish") and my next experiment is to use them for edge-joionting."
"In addition, when you want to do the copes, all you have to do is raise the bit in your router table or shaper table to put the cope profile at the right height. The picture that is shown for this bit is actually upside down as it would be deployed in a router or shaper table, the profile at the top of the picture is the stile moulding profile, and the profile shown at the bottom of the bit does the copes in the rails."
"If I didn't want the thin edge to be there I had to raise up the bit, and then my detail was too deep for my liking, so this one is better for me. When you have to drill a hinge cup hole into the back of a door, you don't want it to pierce through the front side of this detail after you are all done with the door. Having the option of keeping the bit a little lower creates more of a safety buffer, and is more attractive to my clients when you view the door from the front."
"Use a backer board on your mitre guide to reduce blowout, and avoid knots and using ply or silica laden woods and it will stay sharp for an age as well. -Nice thick carbide that can be reground again and again (use only the best sharpening services available!)."
"I took a couple of spacers from the groove bit and placed on the tongue bit. I then lowered the tongue bit, and used the top one for the groove."

"Sapele is a fairly hard wood with variable grain which was compounded by my unusual sweeping curves. Upon receipt, noticed substantial plastic container used by Freud, out of box sharpness and general appearance of high quality fit and finish. Routing freehand against the bearing I experienced a startling kick back upon entry that could have been dangerous."
"A quality bit at a good price."
"Anyone who has ever used Freud router bits know it's a great bit."
"In short, excellent bit."
"As I am retired, living on Social Security, and have been equipping a modest woodworking shop, I've tended to buy less expensive tools, bits, gouges, etc., that I can afford at the moment."
"The bit was bent."
"Unfortunately I didn't use it the first time until after the date one can't return it so I'm out the bit and a lot of hours of work."

"Cut my boards like a hot knife through butter!"
"The under mount sink I installed was a Karan Edge stainless bowl and I should have purchased a 10 degree bevel bit with a 1/8 inch oversize bearing."
"This is a great router bit."
"Purchased this tool to make recessed cuts in wood for flush mounting of large speakers in cabinets."
"After MANY MANY e-mails with pics, etc to Freud (I feel this is the manufacturers fault), they finally agreed to replace the bit with no mention of paying for my $75 sink."
"bearing came off and gouged my new counter top."
"It's a picture of a "Under Rounding" bit, but Freud 85-382 is a Rounding Over."
Best Router Door & Window Bits
These bits cut smoother than other straight bits because of the precise shear and hook angles. Cuts all composite materials, plywoods, hardwoods, and softwoods.
Reviews
Find Best Price at Amazon"This 15/32" bit is used to cut perfectly sized dados for 12mm offshore plywood. Using a standard 1/2" bit to route dados for cabinet making etc makes a dado that is way too big, loose and sloppy."
"This is my first high quality "expensive" router bit."
"The cut is just as clean & straight at the tip of the bit as it is at the base of the cutters."
"The trick seems to be to take several small passes on the router table - otherwise the dado gets severely choked up with the wood chips, which can get packed in pretty tightly, and encourage the bit to go off track if you are not guiding it securely...........dont ask how I know this (fortunately a practice cut!)."
"The bit performed flawlessly, giving me very smooth edges on the boards, which were laminated 3/4" cabinet grade plywood (3) with a 3/4" layer of solid red oak. I'm very pleased with the speed and ease that this bit jointed and squared these large pieces. In a split second, that long cutter took a big bite out of the side and then climbed up and out of the cut, twisting me to the left. I've got other projects planned, where I'll be using this bit and router configuration again as a hand held jointer."
"I got tired of installing a dado stack on my table saw, and decided to use my router together with my DeWalt Track Saw track (and the DeWalt router accessory) to make 1/4", 1/2", 5/8", and 3/4" dados."
"I've used them for a long time and they consistently out preform any of those cheap bits found on the market."

"Absolutely thrilled with this watch press!"
"It took about all of my weight to get it to work, but the press snapped it back in place with out any damage to the watch."
"One of my watches was a bit challenging and it took several tries with different dies, but eventually I got the back on."
"It has a solid, substantial feel to it and the provide disks work for fairly large diameter watches down to pretty small ones."
"I'd go after them with pliers covered with a towel to keep from scratching the surface, but I knew one day I'd crack the crystal and I'd wind up with a pricey repair bill."
"It's simply a must have tool for replacing watch batteries. You put pressure on the watch crystal in any way and game over."
"No more struggling to get watch backs on."

Find Best Price at Amazon"As I aligned the first of 5 pins I ended up removing, even though the push rod remained level, I could see the tip of the pin wasn't staying level and had a slight "out of round" movement where it would go off axis. I didn't notice it until it neared the tip of the bracelet pin, at which time it became very evident. I thought if I took the time to micro-adjust the bracelet so the tool's pin hit the bracelet's pin, the act of it entering the bracelet's pin hole might keep it on track, however within a millimeter or two of it entering the hole the tool's pin bent, making it unuseable. I also used the tool to finish pushing the pins into place to join the bracelet after inserting them as far as I could by hand."
"Adjustable for height as well is very helpful; the push pin only needs to come out about 1/8 inch and simply pulls out from there. If the pin is stubborn to reinsert and lock, give it a *tiny* push with this tool after making sure the direction and pin orientation is correct."
"It will not remove the pin completely because the tool pin has a shoulder that didn't fit through the pin hole."
"There is a little platform which rotates and raises to bring your band in alignment with the height of the tool's push pin. Hopefully you will have bands that take the guess work out of deciding which way to push the pins based on little arrows."
"This link tool works far better than the plastic versions that are slightly cheaper, for several reasons: 1) The tips (it includes several) are far thicker, closer to the diameter of the pins in watch links. I was initially worried that a metal tool would scratch the bracelet. But the finish on this, which is sort of bead-blasted-ish, combined with whatever metal they used (must be soft) doesn't ever seem to leave a mark of any kind."
