Find Best Price at Amazon"After having drilled out the broken stud I tried to recoil the old 5/16-18 thread with a recoil bit - wasn't 100% working. For my broken stud on my xb12ss I additionally ordered some '5/16" -18 X .750" Time-Sert Insert Part # 05615'. because the four included inserts were just .450" but for the stud on my Buell I needed a .750" insert length."

Find Best Price at Amazon"This worked fantastic for my 2000 Suzuki Hayabusa to repair my stripped oil pain drain plug threads."
"Changing out spark plugs on my 2001 Honda civic got to number 3 cylinder on it started to get super thight and you could feel the threads starting to strip I thightened it back in so I could still drive it until I had the money to fix ( time sert kits are expensive over $200 for the kit) then I found this kit ordered it and worked great only took about an hour with a few beers while doing the job."
"Seems to be holding though, and allows you to use the original spark plug style, unlike one of the other repair kits that forces you to change to the "long reach" style plug, which could cause a check engine light."
"This product is amazing it literally took me 20 minutes to fix my F 150."
"Make sure you out a ton of grease on the tap to catch all the aluminum shavings, then I used a thin metal rod with q tips taped to it so I could reach down in the spark plug "valley" to pull up any loose shavings."
"I used it on my '84 toyota pickup (22r), and I really disliked cutting into that aluminum head but it seemed to go ok. I managed to hit the piston while I was threading (hand smacks forehead) so make sure you either don't get all cavalier with your wrenchin' or ensure your piston is out of the way."
"I used this to fix my stripped threads on my 2005 Ford Crown Victoria."
"cb360 blew a plug and I bought this to replace it."
