However instead of using a 1/4" ratchet, I ended up using the handle of my old heli kit as it had a 1/4" square hole for the tap that would allow me to apply even level pressure to make the tap thread better. There are two versions however, one version the coil insert tool also has a 1/4" socket hole in it to use wit the tap."
