3 Fortune
Just as Wall Street is an icon to the investment community, Fortune magazine is one to its readership--the difference being Fortune's diversified reach into the many facets of business.

Find Best Price at Amazon"Reading the Fortune magazine on my Kindle 2.0 has made me realize both the pros and cons of reading a printed magazine. If you want the most efficient Fortune magazine reading experience, then get the Kindle version. I was shocked how skimpy Fortune magazine was in content as I was able to read EVERY article in less than 15 minutes, which is less than it takes me to read the daily Wall Street Journal (Kindle version). Reading Fortune from Kindle 2.0 is a different experience than reading from a printed version."
"So beware that any Kindle magazine can be missing key content of the print edition totally at the publisher's discretion."
"Unfortunately, the most interesting readings are the big scandals such as the dismissal of HP's female CEOs, Enron, Adelphia, Tyco, Bernard Madoff, HeathSouth, sub-prime mortgages, and others."
"Why doesn't Fortune save some trees and offer the digital subscription at the same or less than the print edition?"
"While I am glad I can receive at least -some- of the content early, regularly and conveniently, the layout is lacking, articles are missing, and images are scarce. It is still convenient and inexpensive enough to be worthwhile for me, but in an age where there is so much free content available online, I hope the editors of fortune start giving more love to the digital edition."
"You get a few of the main articles, but most of the rest of what shows up turns out to be tiny little bits of junk: Text boxes and pullout-garbage (I used to work in the magazine world) that is essentially page filler in the printed editions."

Find Best Price at Amazon"The digital subscriptions and authentication to access this content happens directly on the Economist's servers, so features served from the Economist's servers are easily matched and delivered to subscribers. But without it The Economist has no way of knowing who is subscribing through Amazon, so they cannot offer the digital features to kindle subscribers. This is how it SHOULD work (listen up Amazon): 1) You pay for the Kindle subscription. 2) You then sign up with a free account at Economist.com that doesn't have any subscription rights to it (yet). 3) You add your amazon info to your Economist user account. 4) The Economist's server pings the Amazon server, and the Amazon server says "Yup, this guy is definitely a paying subscriber, and he is paid up through XX/XX/XXXX". 5)You get the Kindle subscription every week, plus the ability to log in to the Economist.com with a newly subscriber-enhanced user account. The Economist would LOVE to give Kindle subscribers digital access, but there's no practical way to do this because Amazon refuses to implement APIs to make Step 4 possible."
"My hectic work schedule doesn't allow me the leisure to read each and every issue cover to cover, so this option is perfect for me."
"My whole family enjoys reading The Economist in order to keep up with world news."
"Unfortunately, did not see that this offer does not include both paper and digital."
"My husband expressed an interest in this magazine after reading a few issues at our daughter's house."
"IVE BEEN READING THEECONOMIST FOR 40 YEARS."
"I have been a subscriber to the Economist for over a decade off and on as finances and time allowed."
