Psychiatric medications have served society well over the last fifty years, but the need for drug therapies will fade away as science advances. The author's database containing millions of chemical factors in blood, urine, and tissues has identified brain-changing nutrient imbalances in patients diagnosed with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism, behavior disorders, depression, schizophrenia, and Alzheimer's disease. “Over his impressive career, Dr. Walsh has worked with 30,000 patients with conditions ranging from autism to schizophrenia to Alzheimer’s. He invented a lithium battery that has been used in cars and hearts; he won the Abram Hoffer Doctor of the Year award, although he is a chemical engineer; he found the physical causes of violence, sociopathic behavior, depression, schizophrenia, and a dozen other troubling behaviors―and he found the treatments too; his studies are elegant and often commissioned by the National Institutes of Health, and his work on autism is as original as the man himself. ”With Nutrient Power , Bill Walsh joins Linus Pauling, Carl Pfeiffer, and Abe Hoffer on the Mount Rushmore of behavioral nutrition. Bill Walsh opened my eyes to unsuspected nutritional needs, which saved my son. Dr. Walsh is a revolutionary thinker who guides us into the emerging world of biochemical balancing, the growing body of research into epigenetics, and understanding how these fields relate so they can be applied right here, right now.”. Nutrient Power brings a unique new perspective to mental, behavioral, and autistic disorders, including the crucial role of epigenetics. Anyone seeking advanced treatments for mental illness will benefit greatly from reading Dr. Walsh’s new book.

"This book is a condensed description of Dr. William Walsh’s 30 years research in the field of nutrient therapy to treat mental disorders. Dr. Walsh created non-profits in order to be able to conduct research about the role of vitamins, mineral, and amino acids in mental disorders. The nutrient therapy treatment aims at regulating the synthesis of neurotransmitters using natural chemistry, without producing the negative side effects that the psychiatric drugs generate. The book is written in a simple language, so that, a layperson like me, can understand some basic chemical processes that occur in the human body/brain. There are chapters on epigenetics, schizophrenia, depression, autism, behavior disorders, Alzheiner’s, and about the clinical process used in the treatment. Dr. William Walsh is a wonderful man, who has been dedicating his career to the development of a protocol for patients with behavior disorders."

Find Best Price at Amazon"To be honest, they didn't cover the questions that people coming into essential oils really want to know. Most guides will give you ways to mix your essential oils in diffusers or in bath salts. There are your typical bath salt recipes, but they are detailed and do cover more than just mixing the oils in. There were times in this guide where it was very clear the writer did not speak or write English as a first language. There were times when the lack of translating/editing was glaring and it made certain portions difficult to read or follow. I don't need to see water boiling, but seeing what the finished bath salts or lotions look like does help to entice the reader and makes them want to try the recipe. There are a ton of oils on Amazon right now labeled as therapeutic or essential when in fact they aren't. This rating is based on how close to the title the book is, the information it brings to the table, and how likely I would be to recommend it to one of my natural health clients. I'd really like to see the writers change things up and come out with a real guide and then a recipe book. I think the two combined would make a great starter package and would set them apart from the hundreds of guides out there."
"The book was very easy to read. I love how it gives you the basics of what an essential oil is along with the examples of said oils."

"In the second book (since this is a boxed set), there are recipes that utilize coconut oil making these dishes even more delicious and healthy. This vast expanse of knowledge really takes most of the "guess work" out of this oil and makes it less "exotic" and more practical for any user."
"When I started looking at the table of contents, I immediately went to the recipes sections ;) My sisters both were on a diet similar to paleo (don't ask for details because I did not participate specifically with their diet just ate their food lol) and they used coconut oil a lot in their food; so I new that coconut was healthy but didn't really know the specifics or why it was healthy or could help with weight loss."

Dr. John E. Sarno's groundbreaking research on TMS (Tension Myoneural Syndrome) reveals how stress and other psychological factors can cause back pain-and how you can be pain free without drugs, exercise, or surgery. Healing Back Pain promises permanent elimination of back pain without drugs, surgery, or exercise. It should have been titled Understanding TMS Pain , because it discusses one particular cause of back pain--Tension Myositis Syndrome (TMS)--and isn't really a program for self-treatment, with only five pages of action plan (and many more pages telling why conventional methods don't work).
Reviews
Find Best Price at Amazon"John Sarno's diagnosis is the truth, medicine is WAAY far behind in understanding the connection between emotions and illness, especially chronic pain. My biggest advice is HANG IN THERE, the book says it takes 6-8 weeks to heal completely and it has taken me much longer than that, don't be discouraged if you are still in pain after that time frame. Feed yourself POSITIVE ENERGY as much as you can, believe in your healing, no matter what the pain is telling you. Listen to My Morning Jacket, spend time in nature, get off Twitter and Instagram and all that noise, pet your dog, think about great things that have happened to you. I would oftentimes feel the repressed rage boiling up to the surface as I wrote. Lay on your bed and breathe deeply into your belly, make a sound as you exhale, this helps to rouse the old emotions, bringing them to the surface. I was afraid I would never heal, but the fact that you can get it moving up and down like that at all shows that things are changing. Keep practicing, hold strong, and eventually the pain starts to lose the fight."
"I've spent tens of thousands of dollars on different kinds of alternative health therapies and spent years of my life going to regular doctors and specialists to try to get back to where I was in life. Sometime down the line, maybe 100 years from now, Dr. Sarno will be remembered as one of the most influential and greatest doctors this planet has ever seen."
"I do know that it was after a year of entirely disabling, perplexing, and shifting symptoms that culminated with a "herniated disc" diagnosis, an epidural steroid injection that made things worse, and ever-increasing dispair that I would ever have my once very active life back. Since these reviews are what led me to read this book (despite the fact that I'm scientifically minded and inclined to believe and trust doctors in general, maybe too much), I thought I would add my own story. After a backpacking trip in November 2010, I developed severe, debilitating knee pain. It was a blissful three days in the wilderness, and on the hike out (i.e. back to my job as a corporate lawyer), the knee pain started. I waited a week, thinking it was an overuse injury related to my spin classes, hiking, etc., and when it did not get better, I went in for an MRI. The first orthopedic surgeon diagnosed me with "knee strain" and sent me to physical therapy, which I ended up doing twice a week for six months. Two months later, things were not improved, so I switched doctors and ordered a second MRI. My knee was actually warm to the touch, which (of course) led me to believe that there was some physical injury. My new doctor, feeling the extreme soreness I had on my hip and outside of my quad and outside of my knee, diagnosed me with IT (iliotibial band) syndrome. At some point, my physical therapist suggested that maybe I had a pinched nerve. The back MRI showed a herniated L4/L5 vertebrae (diagnosed by my new spine surgeon), and I scheduled an epidural. I went for the epidural, and afterward I couldn't sit, stand, or lie comfortably. While I waited for it to arrive, I read other things about Sarno, and about his theories, on the internet. I am pain free when six weeks ago I was on disability and headed for back surgery."
"Great alternative/complimentary view to healing chronic pain!"

Eventually, Harris realized that the source of his problems was the very thing he always thought was his greatest asset: the incessant, insatiable voice in his head, which had propelled him through the ranks of a hypercompetitive business, but had also led him to make the profoundly stupid decisions that provoked his on-air freak-out. 10% Happier takes readers on a ride from the outer reaches of neuroscience to the inner sanctum of network news to the bizarre fringes of America’s spiritual scene, and leaves them with a takeaway that could actually change their lives. I met Dan Harris when a mutual friend suggested that we’d enjoy talking about habits, happiness, and meditation. Dan: I never in a million years thought I’d be the type of person who’d say this, but my answer is … meditation.I had always assumed that meditation was for robed gurus, acid-droppers, and people who keep yurts in their backyard. But then I heard about the explosion of scientific research that shows the practice has an almost laughably long list of health benefits, from lowering your blood pressure to boosting your immune system to essentially rewiring your brain for happiness. A vastly improved ability to jolt myself out of rumination and fantasies about the past or the future, and back to whatever was happening right in front of my face.Over time (I’ve now been at it for about four years and do 35 minutes a day), an even more substantial benefit kicked in: I created a different relationship to the voice in my head. Dan: In my early thirties, as a young reporter for ABC News, I spent many years covering wars. In hindsight, it was an attempt, at least partly, to recreate some of the thrill of the war zone.A side-effect of all of this, as my doctor later explained to me, was that the drugs increased the level of adrenaline in my brain, which is what, in all likelihood, produced a panic attack I had on live television in 2004 on Good Morning America. ” I was in my car, driving to go see some friends, and I decided—seemingly out of nowhere—that after years of being a mediocre high school student, I was going to truly apply myself in the next phase of my life. He’d felt the “journalistic heroin” of reporting from war zones, anchored national broadcasts, and even recovered from cocaine addiction. Along the way, he talked to Eckhart Tolle, Deepak Chopra, a host of Jewish Buddhists, and even the Dalai Lama before reluctantly trying meditation. Approaching it with all the skepticism of a reporter, Harris checked out the neurological research and learned that meditation was being used in the corporate and military arenas to heighten focus and clarity. In this brave, completely engaging, and often hilarious book, Harris achieves his aim of demystifying meditation.

This book addresses the problem of myofascial trigger points—tiny contraction knots that develop in a muscle when it is injured or overworked. The new edition also includes postural assessments and muscle tests, an illustrated index of symptoms, and clinical technique drawings and descriptions to assist both practitioners and regular readers in assessing and treating trigger points. "―Bernie S. Fishman, MD, chief of the Division of Pain Medicine in the Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine at the University of California, Davis and author of The War on Pain. I believe this book, revealing that trigger point therapy may safely relieve chronic pain, should be in the hands of every doctor." "Trigger point massage therapy may be the most effective treatment known for a wide variety of pain problems, including fibromyalgia and myofascial pain syndrome." "As a chiropractor for twelve years and an instructor of trigger point therapy at the Utah College of Massage Therapy for ten years, I found the Davies’ book very accurate and complete. Now deceased, Clair Davies, NCTMB (Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork) , specialized in trigger point massage for the treatment of pain. Mr. Davies’s interest in massage began when he successfully self-treated a frozen shoulder with trigger point massage. Her interest in trigger point therapy began in the mid-1990s when she and her father, Clair, successfully ended her six-year long battle with chronic low back pain. Find Best Price at Amazon"Then late Dec 2012 - PT is great until one rushed day when she stretched my right leg too far too fast. I tried everything over the next few months - acupuncture, chiropractor, spine drs, orthopedist, physiatrist, neurologist, steroid shot, supplements, stretching, walking through the pain, ice, heat, epsom salt baths 3+ times a day, etc etc. I used to run, bike 40 miles a week, garden, now I was reduced to a cane and suggestions of back surgery in less than a couple of months of being in great shape and NO pain?? So I was going through a review of what, I do not remember, maybe a supplement that might alleviate pain, and it mentions looking into trigger point therapy. I come home and my husband comes out to help me, worried that I am going to be in a bad place pain wise. For low back pain, your glutes carry some heavy duty trigger points. It's is some work to keep up with all the trigger points that crop up but I do it while watching TV or listening to music. BTW, if you stretch a tired or cold muscle too fast/too hard it can set off a trigger point. If I had known about trigger point therapy, I could have saved myself from a year of hell on me and my family, as well as the bills. I recommend a cleaner diet, exercise, fresh air and constant movement versus just sitting. Excessive sitting and lying around make soft tissue pain worse. I love Tiger Balm for night time stiffness or to help get your circulation going on a painful spot. There are also some good videos and a Ted Talk on the science of pain in the brain that are worth watching. I took a nasty fall on my bike last week and was totally panicked, as I have not fully recovered from this past year's trauma. I got into the habit of using the lacrosse ball and it works well, but I started to get more pain in the hips & tightness in lower back. YouTube has many instructional videos on how to work out TrP if the book is too technical or if you need a visual. You have to be careful with the QL muscles (most of us have TrPs there but don't know it until you get in there with a small TrP ball) or you might cause back spasms. I had a chiropractor overwork my QL's and set off a horrific week of spasms before I discovered TrP therapy. I joined a gym for the 1st time in a decade to get me through this hard Boston winter and was surprised how many people at the gym were ending their workouts with trigger point therapy methods - rolling out on balls or foam rollers, trainers using them on clients, etc. )I have found great pain release from working these hard to reach glute points. For some women in major hormone flux it can be severe enough for you to be diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome or fibromyalgia. Yes there are some true cases of those diseases that are not related to hormones or trigger points, but there are also women being misdiagnosed & sent home with RX's for anti-depressants & way too strong pain meds. A balanced - KEY WORD IS BALANCED - hormone therapy (like bio hormone replacements) as well as exercise, diet, TrP, and improved digestion (which diminished greatly around 40-45 in women) will make a difference in your pain levels.I am working with a gifted endocrinologist who tests my blood 2x a month so we can get the best picture how to manage my perimenopause. I do not have CFS or fibromyalgia, but I do notice that trigger points crop up more often now that my blood tests reveal I am primenopausal. I travel with 2 sizes of balls when I fly so that I can roll out those knots that can happen after being cramped on a plane. *UPDATE* August 31, 2016. I am still actively and successfully using TrP therapy to manage my low back, as well as misc aches and pains that crop up. About 3 times a week I spend a half hour or more with my super bounce rubber ball and a concrete wall. I ruptured my L4-L5 disc in my late 20's, which puts my low back at a higher risk for aches and pain when I sit too long on something soft, or work too hard in the garden. Before I found this therapy, I used to get so tight, manage my aches with Advil, and wait for it to pass, usually a few days. Now that I know what to do, I roll out my calf trigger points right away & find relief within a day. I wish physical therapists would introduce a home regimen of TrP in addition to the exercise plan for recovery and relief. Just an interesting anecdote - JK Rowling (author of Harry Potter series for the handful of those that might not know) has tweeted this year about having back pain that feels better when she digs into it with the corner of her sofa."
"I'm from Argentina so excuse me if I make some mistakes in writing this English since it is not my native language. Today I was recommending the Trigger Point Therapy to some friends over facebook, so looking for the link, I found the website, and suddenly I remembered. Years back I was diagnosed with a small, tiny displacement of a vertebra on my neck. I found a book about TMJ self treatments, and Amazon had an offer for the Trigger Point Therapy along with this one. And thanks to the AMAZING illustrations (I'm a graphic designer, so I can testify on their perfection) I decided to begin searching for the trigger point. My neck was feeling like before the roller coaster ride, I felt perfectly healthy and good. Every time myself or a family member experience this type of pain, I take my book out and teach them how to treat it."
"It is not a cure all, and definitely won't work for everything, but if you were buy one book on the subject of eliminating your musculoskeletal pain, this is it."
"Very helpful locating source of and relieving actual pain."
"One can gain both a broad and detailed understanding of Trigger Points including causation of pain, source vs. actual location of pain, and various manner of therapeutic treatment approaches and options."
"really good info!"
"Excellent book, however much too technical for me and probably for most people who need help with modalities."

I have included a photo so you can see how thick with information this book literally is! ), and Kurt Schnaubelt, The Healing Intelligence of Essential Oils (thats his newest one, it is a wealth of knowledge) and my absolute favorite: Perfume and Flavor Materials of Natural Origin by Steffan Arctander, a classic that will probably never go out of print."
"For many, this is the preferred reference book on the topic of essential oils. Honestly, if you like essential oils you will appreciate this book."
"Excellent reference."
"I have lots of great EO books, but this one is the most informative!"
"I've had the original version for over 20yrs and have used it regularly, and am loving the updated version with added chapters and updated information."
"I was looking for a book that would help me figure out what oils worked best for certain things and this book does just that."
"I really like this book ... in fact it is really a great book. So you end up with text on top of text and unable to read parts of it sometimes."
"I bought this book to really start growing my stock of oils and it has far exceeded my expectations."

Over the years I’ve explored many different theories, systems and methods to improve my life, my health and pursue personal growth and I well-being. I’ve read voraciously and have been deeply and profoundly influenced and inspired by the many wisdom traditions and paths to wellness, wholeness and enlightenment that are out there. This latest book (I used both the audio and hard copy on my journey) provided a 21 day, go at my own pace program to work through issues in my life that have been keeping me from achieving my goals and dreams and being my best self. It’s done so simply and practically and Nick has such a gift for compassion, humor and insight that it leads you to your own personal discovery and self-healing."
"I have been following EFT tapping since early 2000 but recently have really applied myself with The Tapping Solution and tapping and learning more about tapping in the past 2 years and it has really created positive changes in my life and how I cope with stress and issues."
"With the book by Nick Ortner I was amazed at how it got me tapping much more frequently and with great results! I read through the book and used the concepts and even picked up some scripts relevant to my foot pain."
"I have 2 Tapping summits and I am on social security disability, so that's not a lot of money I get from disability each month but I budget and sometimes eat beans so I can get the things I need like tapping items and my therapeutic grade essential oils, both of these keep me calm and grounded. I have gained so much weight on bipolar medicine, tell Jessica I listen to her Tapping for weight loss while I take a bath (I use to just rush through my baths and not enjoy them, now I take the time to tap while I bath and now love my baths). Love the hardback copy of your new book, my free download and I love my audible of your book on my phone so I can take it everywhere I go, I have Jessica's weight loss book on audibles too, on cd and hard copy."

“Essential reading for anyone interested in understanding and treating traumatic stress and the scope of its impact on society.” —Alexander McFarlane, Director of the Centre for Traumatic Stress Studies A pioneering researcher transforms our understanding of trauma and offers a bold new paradigm for healing in this New York Times Science bestseller Trauma is a fact of life. Praise for The Body Keeps the Score “In this inspirational work which seamlessly weaves keen clinical observation, neuroscience, historical analysis, the arts, and personal narrative, Dr. van der Kolk has created an authoritative guide to the effects of trauma, and pathways to recovery. A must read for mental health and other health care professionals, trauma survivors, their loved ones, and those who seek clinical, social, or political solutions to the cycle of trauma and violence in our society.” —Rachel Yehuda, Ph.D., professor of psychiatry and neuroscience, director of the Traumatic Stress Studies Division at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, New York, NY “This is an absolutely fascinating and clearly written book by one of the nation’s most experienced physicians in the field of emotional trauma. “Breathtaking in its scope and breadth, The Body Keeps the Score is a seminal work by one of the preeminent pioneers in trauma research and treatment. Van der Kolk, the eminent impresario of trauma treatment, who has spent a career bringing together diverse trauma scientists and clinicians and their ideas, while making his own pivotal contributions, describes what is arguably the most important series of breakthroughs in mental health in the last thirty years. Here we see not only how psychological trauma also breaks connections within the brain, but also between mind and body, and learn about the exciting new approaches that allow people with the severest forms of trauma to put all the parts back together again.” —Norman Doidge, author of The Brain That Changes Itself. “ The Body Keeps the Score articulates new and better therapies for toxic stress based on a deep understanding of the effects of trauma on brain development and attachment systems. Bessel van der Kolk may focus on the body and trauma, but what a mind he must have to have written this book.”. Its deeply empathic, insightful, and compassionate perspective promises to further humanize the treatment of trauma victims, dramatically expand their repertoire of self-regulatory healing practices and therapeutic options, and also stimulate greater creative thinking and research on trauma and its effective treatment. The body does keep the score, and Van der Kolk’s ability to demonstrate this through compelling descriptions of the work of others, his own pioneering trajectory and experience as the field evolved and him along with it, and above all, his discovery of ways to work skillfully with people by bringing mindfulness to the body (as well as to their thoughts and emotions) through yoga, movement, and theater are a wonderful and welcome breath of fresh air and possibility in the therapy world.”. “In The Body Keeps the Score we share the author’s courageous journey into the parallel dissociative worlds of trauma victims and the medical and psychological disciplines that are meant to provide relief. “Bessel van der Kolk is unequaled in his ability to synthesize the stunning developments in the field of psychological trauma over the past few decades. —Ruth A. Lanius, MD, PhD, Harris-Woodman chair in Psyche and Soma, professor of psychiatry, and director PTSD research at the University of Western Ontario; author of The Impact of Early Life Trauma on Health and Disease. Interspersed with that narrative are clear and understandable descriptions of the neurobiology of trauma; explanations of the ineffectiveness of traditional approaches to treating trauma; and introductions to the approaches that take patients beneath their cognitive minds to heal the parts of them that remained frozen in the past. “When it comes to understanding the impact of trauma and being able to continue to grow despite overwhelming life experiences, Bessel van der Kolk leads the way in his comprehensive knowledge, clinical courage, and creative strategies to help us heal. Dr. Van der Kolk offer a brilliant synthesis of clinical cases, neuroscience, powerful tools and caring humanity, offering a whole new level of healing for the traumas carried by so many.”. Bessel van der Kolk, M.D., is the founder and medical director of the Trauma Center in Brookline, Massachusetts.

The only way to ‘communicate’ with this pre-verbal system is through the body, which can signal to the brain stem that it is OK to begin the process of unfreezing the emotional paralysis that has plagued us for decades. UPDATE 2018: One of the treatments that Bessel van der Kolk mentions in his book - MDMA (Ecstasy) - was recently granted ‘Breakthrough Therapy’ status by the FDA for phase 3 trials. This is because the phase 1 and 2 trials were so successful, that nearly 70% of participants no longer had PTSD after just 3 MDMA sessions (most of these participants had suffered PTSD for decades)."
"I believed I could gut it out, that the past was the past and that only weak people needed to talk through their problems. I believed only losers behaved badly as adults due to anything in their childhood or past and that claiming you were affected by any past problem was a crutch to allow you to embrace failure. It's very hard to be kind to people, to focus on your work, to love others when all your power is spent trying to pretend you don't feel like s***. When you see everything you have go away and can only occasionally find the strength to take care of yourself and your business and need others in your life to carry you from time to time (much to your embarrassment) and yet you think you're smart and capable and have no understanding of why you are where you are, life becomes a slog. While I can't attribute every part of my success to this book alone as it takes many things to get where you want to go (mostly you), I can absolutely attest to the power of this book. If you've suffered any sort of major and/or persistent trauma in your life, please buy (and read) this book."

"Since beginning the iodine (very low dose), I have lost 17-20 pounds without dieting a single day, and it has stayed off (even during the holidays). I gave no thought to seeing any changes, so after doing several extra nonessential chores for 3-4 days I realized Hey, it has to be the iodine increase. I tried two drops yesterday which upset my stomach (I then drank a second big glass of water which did the trick), my face became flushed, my scalp itched for a couple of minutes, and an itchy hive broke out on my neck."
"Lynne describes how Iodine Deficiency is a world wide epidemic that contributes to the following diseases and their cures: * Fibrocystic Breast Disease & related cancers. * Polycistic Ovary Syndrome & related cancers. * Uterus fibroids, cysts, endometriosis & related cancers. * Thyroid problems. * Brain Fog, felling stupid. * Headaches. * Prostate problems. * Hormonal imbalance. "Trigger point massage therapy may be the most effective treatment known for a wide variety of pain problems, including fibromyalgia and myofascial pain syndrome." "As a chiropractor for twelve years and an instructor of trigger point therapy at the Utah College of Massage Therapy for ten years, I found the Davies’ book very accurate and complete.

Find Best Price at Amazon"If you are considering purchasing this book and are reading the reviews (both good and bad) you will quickly see that this book stirs up all kinds of highly emotional responses. When you read this book, it is important to understand that there is an overall concept here that many illnesses and symptoms, that so many suffer from, are a "mystery" to current medical practices. For someone who does a quick read through, with the bias of what most people believe to be true, the information in this book can appear deceivingly simple and perhaps even nothing new. However, if you take the opportunity to read this book with "beginner’s mind" (as one of my best teachers likes to say), you may find that this book has some considerable things to teach. This can be hard to do, and yet, the way this book is suggesting to heal is so brilliant and kind and gentle, that it should actually be the first step that we all take with our bodies. It took me awhile to get it when working with Anthony because it really is a different way to think about healing and what is actually going on in our bodies than we have been told. A practitioner that I went to many years ago told me a story that helped me in my own healing and being able to grasp how important the information in this book is. It is this that Anthony and Spirit are writing about in this book. Since it is a common question in many reviews, I want to clarify that I purchased the book, that I have actually read the book, and I was not offered anything to write this review. I am writing this review because I have experienced firsthand a total transformation from debilitating chronic illness and getting my life back, through the help of Anthony and the Spirit that speaks to him. I went to my physician and told him of my phone call and what Anthony and Spirit had told me and my physician said "you are the 4th patient of mine to talk to this guy and he has been spot on every time." Anthony and Spirit taught me how to take ownership and control over the healing process. The child was under the age of 5 and because both the doctor and Anthony knew that giving antibiotics to a child that young, when they have the flu, could potentially be damaging, they came up with a protocol to help my child through the healing process and keep her safe from harm of any side effects of the two illnesses or potential damaging medications. So yes, I do have a bias, but the bias is that I have experienced firsthand the healing methods laid out in this book and the kind and compassionate nature of Anthony William. Hence, the need to start writing books, and the need to have a staff of people working for him. Anthony William is just one man and there are millions, if not more, who have the potential to be helped by the information in this book."
"I got sick with what could be labeled Chronic Fatigue Syndrome - and a whole lot of other things eventually - just weeks after the floor and after a winter of feeding moldy hay. We bought a full spectrum infrared sauna since Dr. Dietrich Klinghardt highly rec's them for his Lyme patients. Just after the sauna purchase, I saw the free MM chapter on Facebook and followed the link. I was intrigued by the notion that Lyme was really viral and it made sense to me that THAT is why 1) antibiotics fail and in fact can make it worse and (yes, i experienced this) and 2) the sauna would work b/c it raises core body temperature which is then anti-viral. I'm now on day 3 of the cleanse, working on my adrenals, liver, and blood sugar (yup, forgot to mention that but my paleo diet landed me with pre-diabetes). If I didnt get dx with Lyme, I wouldnt have paid any attention to the free chapter. AW has really changed my paradigm as what he knows is often radically different than my ahead-of-the-curve functional medicine training."
