Find Best Price at Amazon"The following chapter skips from 1977 to 2012, new characters come into the story, also the spiders come into the story line (Willow adds the children's rhymes to her story, which adds to the story line as you read). This story isn't a sugar and spice story, it deals with real possibilities and cruelties of what some people are capable of doing to others."
"Emma seems like a strong character, has some home issues that will make for a good background stories going forward and definitely adds some intense mystery in this book, and being a writer with definite curiosity, it will lead her into situations that will make for great reading--as it did in this book also. There's a lot going on in this book with Emma moving to a small island, dealing with her special needs son and a moody teenage daughter, a separation of her elderly parents, money issues, and everything that goes with being a single parent."
"I wanted a murder mystery without a description of a pointless disgusting very detailed scene of the raping of a child and graphic detail of another small child being molested :( Will be skipping any other books by this author."
"Also this book was not well edited: words transposed, words omitted; sloppy."
"Explicit details of horror page after page were simply too much for me."
"It did have a few spelling and grammar errors, but wasn't littered with them. Mostly I wanted to find out what happened to Astrid and how she connects to the present day happenings. The bad guy parts were gory and horrific. Decent mystery (if you don't mind horror aspects), but the end, if you read just suspend belief there. I would almost consider checking out more of the series, not becuase something here grabbed me that well or left me wanting more, but because I'm curious as how this turns to a series."

"This fast-paced mystery follows a Rebekah as she tries to solve a serial murder spree."
"My only problem with the book is that it seemed to have random words missing here and there, but for the most part the word was easy enough to add as I read."
"Book kept me guessing until the end."
"Then he drugged their daughter and almost killed her and she was willing to let him right back in the child's life immediately? Smh...Then jumping in bed with a complete stranger that she didn't have a clue who he was and she didn't consider her child in that decision?"

Find Best Price at Amazon"In the end, the book did keep me turning pages and I'm interested enough in these characters to see where it goes from here."
"It is written in English but takes place in Denmark so some of the phrasing is not as 'relaxed' as it could be but doesnt ruin the flow at all. Has some interesting 'Denmark' things cuz it takes place there like I had no idea they were so into CAKE!!"
"Willow Rose has proven on a consistent basis her command for story telling."
"Three, Four is of a murder so vile you won't believe it... but it's happening, and again reporter Rebekka Franck is on top of the story."
"I made it through the lust, gluttony, and pride victims but by the time I read the third victim's story, I could tell you word for word what the author was about to write."
"Yes, you could even read this book as a stand alone, but I am recommending at least the first 3 books (all that I've read so far) as I'm really enjoying this series."
"I don't like torture of any kind, but especially dislike sexual torture."
"Good start, needlessly gory, not enough suspense or depth to the story."

Find Best Price at Amazon"It is in a bank of books that I can fall back on with the assurance that the stories may not be great literature, but they are good storytelling. She was now in seclusion living almost as a hermit and looking through hollow eyes described as “the thousand-yard stare.” Someone, presumably from the past, had surfaced and was killing the guys in the picture one-by-one. Enter Rebekka Franck, a recent returnee to the village where she lived with her father and daughter Julie after running away from an abusive husband. She accepted a small-town stringer job for a tabloid newspaper as the price to be paid for the safety of a home away from husband Peter. Rebekka’s previous assignments had been exciting including one in Iraq where she was briefly held captive by insurgents. She abandoned hubby and career for the sake of Julie and went home to daddy, just in time to be present at the first killing of Denmark’s first serial killer. Fans of police procedurals will poke holes all over the story, but it remains good because of the Denmark setting. I felt the characters had a different lifestyle, one that is more socialist or even humanitarian in dealing with everyday events. And then there are the murders which eventually happen at a rate sufficient to earn the title “serial murders.” Rose did a good job of distraction in arriving at the final surprise ending."
"What a great set of books."
"I Love Love Love this series!"
"Very good series!"
"Some of the content is a bit macabre, but Willow Rose knows how to capture your attention."
"I was in the mood for books of this genre and prefer authirs who can carry a tale through more than one book, the entire series made for entertaining reading."
"Loved it."
"These are well constructed mysteries, holding the readers interest while progressing from one event to another with the core characters intact."
