Find Best Price at Amazon"Finally, in comparison to other various introductory ultrasound books I purchased before taking my elective, this book stood out among the other because it gave quantitative numbers/measurements on various topics (EPSS for estimating EF, diameter of the aorta measured by ultrasound that should raise concern for AAA, etc) backed by research which was very helpful and added to the utility of performing ultrasound on the patients I encountered."
"The ultimate guide to Emergency US."
"Some damage more than expected."
"Comprehensive, readable, with very high standards of schematics and ultrasound images, this book covers the breadth of ED US practice very well and goes into a great amount of depth in the always-popular areas of critical care and echocardiography."
"Yes, it is more a reference text than a quick guide, but it is clear and rapidly accessible."

"I wish they had explanations but you can always refer to MRI in practice . Put all my wrong questions on index cards and studied them over until they were memorized and understood . Breath relax your neves and think positive . It's not that hard to pass but you have to put in the work ."
"This book isn't very thick and only has practice questions and no explanations to go with the answers."
"Overall, the questions cover all of the basics of MRI and helps you think about what type of information you will need for the registry."
"I made a 79 on my first attempt at the registry, and I am not the greatest test taker!"

Focusing on one projection per page, Textbook of Radiographic Positioning and Related Anatomy, 8th Edition includes all of the positioning and projection information you need to know in a clear, bulleted format. Positioning photos, radiographs, and anatomical images, along with projection and positioning information, help you visualize anatomy and produce the most accurate images. Labeled radiographs identify key radiographic anatomy and landmarks to help you determine if you have captured the correct diagnostic information on your images. This is a very useful approach which encourages the practitioner to think about how the anatomy will appear on the final image as they are positioning the patient...The quality of the images is excellent with the positioning shots in full colour throughout...

Find Best Price at Amazon"Biology went over mitosis and meiosis, but rather unclear and it didn't call the phases what it asks for on the exam, so learn those from another source (G1, etc.). This book gives you the vague overview of what would be on the exam, and it's up to you to fill in the more detailed bits...which is ridiculous. It's free, although you can unlock a full version for $12 or $13, I don't remember, and the practice tests are awesome. The best thing you can actually do is get this book, get the app, and make sure to take some peppermints and earplugs with you because the clicky-clack of other people pressing mouses and computer keys WILL get on your nerves."
"Elsevier's Hesi Admission Assessment Exam Review is an excellent comprehensive guide that includes eight concise sections that are featured in the exam; this guide is easy to navigate as well."

"This did help me on some of the subjects to study for the HESI exam."
"The review is alright, although I can't seem to find out how to access the online material."
"This book is basically the same as the later HESI books."

Reviews
Find Best Price at Amazon"To be honest, they didn't cover the questions that people coming into essential oils really want to know. Most guides will give you ways to mix your essential oils in diffusers or in bath salts. There are your typical bath salt recipes, but they are detailed and do cover more than just mixing the oils in. There were times in this guide where it was very clear the writer did not speak or write English as a first language. There were times when the lack of translating/editing was glaring and it made certain portions difficult to read or follow. I don't need to see water boiling, but seeing what the finished bath salts or lotions look like does help to entice the reader and makes them want to try the recipe. There are a ton of oils on Amazon right now labeled as therapeutic or essential when in fact they aren't. This rating is based on how close to the title the book is, the information it brings to the table, and how likely I would be to recommend it to one of my natural health clients. I'd really like to see the writers change things up and come out with a real guide and then a recipe book. I think the two combined would make a great starter package and would set them apart from the hundreds of guides out there."
"The book was very easy to read. I love how it gives you the basics of what an essential oil is along with the examples of said oils."
"Essential Oils are something that I have on my must try list but I have never checked off, for whatever reason. This book is fantastic for those who are first time Essential Oils user or people who have been using them for a while. The author did a great job explaining the different ways to use them and the different types of oils and what they do."
"I have read this book."

"I also used the Phillip Brothman book from Kaplan, as I found the actual test preparation tips in the Kaplan book better, but the cases and contingencies in this older edition of First Aid are good."
"The test hasn't really changed outside of a few minor details, which are pretty inconsequential when studying for the exam. I had my girlfriend play the patient, and despite having no medical background and only about 5 mins to review the case before we practiced, she had no issues following along and answering the questions I came up with."
"My school has us doing clinical skills examinations (CSEs) where we have to do a history, focused physical, and post-encounter note during our 2nd year so I used this book to prepare for those!"
