"There was something in her eyes that roused a part of me I couldn't control, making me feel like a wild man at the mercy of his desire." "A gust of wind ran over my skin, ominous yet familiar, making me shiver. My breathing grew irregular as his eyes, suddenly as gray as molten silver, searched mine inexorably. Evan's voice enveloped me like a warm mantle as our gazes remained silently entwined, exploring the mystery. ". I didn't want to shed my physical body, even though I was sure that was where the sensations I was feeling were coming from. Or maybe I was afraid that in my angelic form, in which everything was amplified, I wouldn't be able to bear it.I turned on the water in the shower and pulled off my jeans. I leaned my palms against the wall and let the water run down my back. The image of Gemma in the shower came into my mind. I thought about how she'd closed her eyes, the way she'd pushed her hair to one side as the water flowed down her skin . I ran my nose down her shoulder, breathing in the scent of her wet skin. I slid my hand down her side and clasped her flesh, overcome by an unknown desire. The wall cracked under the blow.I shook my head, my hair dripping wet, and ran my hands down my face. Reviews
"To start off my review, I just want to say that I enjoyed reading this book sent to me by the author. This translated novel revolves around a normal teenager named Gemma who suddenly encountered a mysterious presence wherein apparently, she's the only who experienced this. After this Angel of Death, Evan, interfered a lot of times with Gemma, she felt connected with him, and is slowly falling in love with him. Actually, all the characters felt like my fictional group of friends, and it was fun hanging out with them while reading this. The characters, the story and the dialogue were greatly crafted with an interesting concept that is enough to pull me into their world where angels of death exist to take away lives, and it felt like they took my life for me to live there."
"Its the kind of book that keeps you wanting to read more and you won't be sorry you did, or that you bought the next book and the next until the story is finished.. You will love the characters so much, that you will find yourself laughing, crying, yelling, and smiling, with them."
"I have to admit that I felt a little bad for Peter, but Evan is such an excellent book boyfriend that you fall in love with him right along side Gemma (so what is if he an an angel of death."
"I loved this book, Evan and Gemma are my new favorites in YA."
"I do love the paranormal and all the things that go bump in the night and this book has all that plus add in some savory bad, angst, twists and turns and young romance to keep you on your toes."
"Her life is pretty normal & somewhat boring until she meets this mysterious guy who intrigues her. She almost thinks her creative imagination is getting the best of her on account of reading too many books since no one else seems to see this mysterious boy but her."
"Once I got past the slow part it really came together and was very interesting and was a surprising thrill ride with adventure, romance, and mystery."
"Gemma is the awkward ,out of place girl who finds herself in a world she never thought could exsist. This book is filled with a rock solid world building."

Redeemer (Night War Saga Book 3)
Her new purpose has much higher stakes—and significantly bigger dangers—than she ever could have imagined. And as the Goddess of Night unleashes an unparalleled wave of fury across the realms, Allie’s dream of a peaceful future with her favorite protector all but disappears.
Reviews
"Bende and Stone did a brilliant job with the Night War Saga series, bringing everything full circle and giving the reader a deep sense of finality. Redeemer is the best yet in the series, but I would take a gander to say that is because it has two great books before to suck you in and develop a breathtaking world and life or death situation that leaves you starving for more. Lucky for us, this third installment starts right where the second ended, giving us the exact moment to jump right back in and wonder what in the world would happen next. Any young woman thrust into the situations she faced would be just as terrified and doubtful, yet Allie takes it in stride and allows herself to freak out and then keeps going."
"I highly recommend this series to anyone who enjoys Norse Mythology with a modern twist."
"This last book really jerked tenderly on my heart strings."
"I can't express how impressed I was with this magical series."
"Great final book."
"As I said before, this series was very well done using the Norse gods was a brilliant idea."
"I love the characters, but I do wish they would get to it, and stop being so pig headed."
"I love this series."
