Find Best Price at Amazon"The first conclusion: the most important feature of a meat grinder is the motor power. This STX has a powerful 1,800 watts motor, more than enough to do all of the duties of a home kitchen (and maybe even of a small restaurant). The ground meat texture results very similar to that from a supermarket grinder. We didn't notice that, and what went to the dishwasher was damaged: the shining was gone and those parts became some rough to touch. So, I contacted the seller (The Mercantile Station) and asked them the price of the replacing parts, since I would buy them. What a pleasant surprise: they promptly sent me an email asking for my address, and they kindly offered to send the parts for free (despite, I must stress, the damage was caused by me). IMPORTANT NOTE: a few months after we bought our STX, the motor was improved to 2,000 watts, i.e, an increase of about 11%."
"The 3 grinder plates turned black on the first use."
"First time use was for grinding London Broil at $1.99 a pound rather than buy 80% hamburg at $3.99 a pound. Ground a bunch of chicken and it made delicious burgers, @.99 lb."
"We had 50 pounds of elk meat to grind up and didn't want to pay $1.29 pound to have it ground and wrapped. In less than one hour we had ground our elk twice with the outcome meat as pretty as store ground meat."
"That helps keep everything running smooth and gives the meat a proper texture as its ground."
"I FOLLOWED THEIR INSTRUCTIONS and the 3rd time it failed on me."
"Soon the batch was taking four hours to grind and I had to take the grinder apart three times during the grinding process to clean out jams. This grinder is probably fine if you're going to use it for making small batches of sausage as a hobby, or if you just want to grind your own burger - but it is definitely not a good grinder for making cat or dog food. I am now making 72 lb batches of cat food and with my Weston grinder it takes just under 10 minutes to grind that amount of meat."

The MEGAFORCE 3000 Series Electric Meat Grinder is the "ONLY Electric Meat Grinder in the World" that has a "COWL AIR INDUCTION COOLING SYSTEM" which can virtually "Double the Life" of your Meat Grinder!!! This Meat Grinder is intended to Grind Meat - This Grinder Will NOT Grind Bones.

If not, it's easy to unplug, unscrew the front and remove the bones or whatever that are stuck. I followed the instructions and used the coarsest grind for bony stuff, then reground it using the medium grinder. All the dangerous parts are on the inside where your hands and fingers can't reach."
"It's way too slow, unnecessarily reduces the grindings from course to paste, and it eventually gets clogged. If you really want fine ground, I would start with the smallest plate and run it through twice before stuffing."
"When grinding meat with bones and/or fat the grinder clogs repeatedly. I now am forced to buy boneless, skinless, chicken and add bone meal to my concoction. I did not deduct a star from my review because the manufacturer literature states that the product is not recommended for grinding bones."
"The blades are hard steel, so you have to lube them with olive oil or something between uses to prevent rust--that's an OK trade-off for hard, sharp blades in my book."
"They're made of Polished Cast Aluminum and it was simply washed away."
"So basically it is doable with crushed up chicken bones, its probably not worth it for the time you will have to commit to actually do it. If you are just making ground beef of some type of spam-like meat it is probably perfect."

The smooth plastic handle is easy to the touch and the simple crank system requires minimum effort while pushing out great sausage. NOZZLES - 4 plastic nozzles included: 10 mm ( 0.4 inch), 20 mm (0.79 inch), 30 mm (1.18 inch) and 40 mm (1.57 inch).

Everything comes apart and is easy to clean. The gears are very smooth, so cranking meat through it is a breeze. The seal on the plunger is perfect. (and I go slow) lol. Cons: The VIVO sticker on the base had curled up and was hardly attached when I took it out of the box. It was no big deal, because it slips right back on, but I do think if VIVO drilled a small hole in the handle and used a simple hitch pin this slight inconvenience would be resolved. This is such a high quality stuffer it would be nice to at least have the option to get stainless steel stuffing tubes."
"At first sight it is impressive! Base is too small and cranking is hard so you need two people."
"After stuffing several sausage batches with my Kitchenaid grinder/stuffer, I decided to invest in a stuffer."
"I looked around for a long time before I bought this Sausage stuffer."
"We've been using a Jerky Gun for stuffing after a failed attempt with the Kitchen Aid stuffer attachment. The first problem is that they sent me the single gear model, but we wanted to make a batch right away, so I got a small concession from Amazon and moved on. ), put on the small plastic stuffing tube since our 21mm casings wouldn't fit over the next size up, and went to work. I decided to back it all the way out and lube up the gasket, plate and the inside of the container with some Crisco, but that did not help at all. I'd really like to give this thing 5 stars, since it seems to be well built and a bit of a bargain compared to the LEM which seems to be the leader in this market, but for us it just isn't living up to the dream of effortless sausage stuffing!"

NutriMill is the world's most popular maker of grain mills, and the NutriMill Classic has been its #1 selling mill for over 10 years! The sifter will give you a beautiful, soft and fluffy flour, as well as using the separated bran to coat the top of your loaves for a nutty crunch. Using soft white wheat and a fine grind makes for excellent pastries and cakes."
"i LOVE my mill!!!"
"I love this grain mill."
"i have only used it a few times."
"WoW!"
"Excellent heavy duty product."
"This mill is fast, relatively quiet (thanks for whomever suggested putting a towel over the spout - I actually affixed elastic to the corners of a hand towel so it slips over the hopper and makes it quieter and keeps down the flour dust) and is just plain lovely to look at."
